But beyond that it's hard to point to anything that is working. Humphreys looking a poor choice based on set piece, breakdown was better second half but still shoddy, too much kicking... And badly. We just look lost.

Carre could be a great player but his strength is carrying and handling and he never got a chance to do that. Our wings barely got a chance... Couple of runs that were ok, but more often than not the ball went up. It looks clueless.

Those scrum pens were bullshit. Ref had made his mind up first half and just called things in the same direction.

According to Wiki Carre has appeared in 29 senior matches, excluding internationals. I guess that means he's probably only played the equivalent of a dozen or so full games. It's crazy that someone in that position is regarded as one of the top two or three in his position. In the good old days we'd have a grizzled veteran to call on.

I think Pivac is shit, but thats due to his appointed assistants not his coaching ability. Jones, Humphreys and Hayward were all selected for one reason, they're welsh, end of.

I fear if there is a welsh coach quota, there won't be much anyone can do
