Bit of a gap between 4th and 5th.
Lions and Connacht need two wins to sneak in if Ulster, Embra and Benneton drop two.

You Stomps love to insult and throw shade on a player.
It's a Stomps thing. You lot are the worst supporters ever.
Chip on the shoulder stuff.

Sharks are the laughing stock of SA Rugby.
I’m with Sky and the Viaplay to Premier Sports cutover happened automatically. I didn’t have to login again. Sorry, can’t be more specific than that.charltom wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 8:09 am Hoping one of you knows how this should work...
My Viaplay subscription ends in a week. The URC matches are now on Premier Sports.
Viaplay are offering me a good deal (£59 for the year) to continue the subscription. But am I right in thinking that won't give me Premier Sports access?
Do I need to subscribe to Premier on its own now to keep watching?
The thing that confuses me slightly is that I can still see the URC logo on the Viaplay app. But I still had to sign into Premier yesterday to watch Bulls-Glasgow.

Old and Confused
Viaplay have the rugby on it until the 21st May then it will be no more. Unless you are right into Scandi noir crime dramas £59 isn't worth it.charltom wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 8:09 am Hoping one of you knows how this should work...

With the squad they have...
Sharks are 1 player: Etsebeth. When he was on a break at the beginning of the season, they won nothing. Soon as he comes back they win everything in sight. Yesterday he goes off HIA in first half and they lose again.
I guess money can buy you everything…..

There is no point in winning that match. Every reason to win the Challenge Cup.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 3:59 pmWhat kind of supporter want to throw matches?
Bulls will bliksem you with their C team anyway.
The news re the injuries.
Vincent, Eben and Am should all be ready for the final bur won't be risked this coming weekend.

You forgot the red card. Conveniently. And give some credit to Benetton. Chasing the playoffs. Unfortunately they too have injuries.
I guess you are very confident for next weekend then. Great. I expect 5 points for the Stormers

The Stormers are basically through. Those just below them have to play each other or teams above the Stormers.Sards wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 8:09 pmI guess you are very confident for next weekend then. Great. I expect 5 points for the Stormers
So you can relax.
No need for us to play Sport Pienaar next year to qualify for the CC to be the laughing stock of SA Rugby.

Disastrous game for the $harks. Our URC games are basically moot at this point in the season, I really wish we could have saved some of our key players for the Challenge Cup game.
Not sure what has happened to Koch, Eben and Am but when it rains it pours. Throw a red card into that mix too. It was quite telling that the winning try came from them taking a gap where Koster would have been defending, and running past our replacement prop who looked finished 30 minutes prior. And Cameron Fucking Wright was on the field, and we all know he doesn't like winning games.
This result highlights again the lack of depth we have when you look past our best XV.
Fassi is such a frustrating player to watch. That's the best I've seen him under the high ball ever, and I'm pleased he got man of the match. He even made a few decent tackles. But he just needs to scratch out the silly mistakes.
We also couldn't get on the right side of the ref. To my knowledge, Benneton were only penalised 2 times in the entire match which in this day and age is ludicrous. Although I blame ourselves for not managing the situation better on the field.

Didn't watch the game, but was pretty disappointed to see the result. Aai Sharkies, what the hell man. I simply can't see them winning the Challenge Cup this year. There's something missing, this team should be winning most games, not bloody lose them. Add to that the travel factor and playing in the UK, I just can't see them getting over the line. The sooner their season ends the better, we'll need our Boks injury free please.
What are you suggesting? They send a b team so that they don't play their Boks?LoveOfTheGame wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 8:01 am Didn't watch the game, but was pretty disappointed to see the result. The Challenge Cup is going to be a cripple fight anyway. Look at the state of Gloucester, they had 90 points put on them on Saturday.
You guys are a disgrace. Pathetic.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 6:59 amYour star player , Etsebeth use that qoute. Maybe have a word with your fellow kokkerot supporter. He want the Stormers to dive to your teams level.
I am a very humble Stormer supporter.

If was very selfish I would not have mind if they did that yes, but the reality is that they do have this one chance that will make a huge difference to their season next year. I obviously don't support the Sharks as my main team, but I do support them when the Stormers aren't playing. I guess I am just being overly pessimistic, but I just have not seen anything consistently from them this year to suggest they have it in them to travel to London and beat Gloucester.assfly wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 8:25 amWhat are you suggesting? To be brutely honest neither have I from the Stormers either, very inconsistent and error prone. They are hardly a championship side this year either.
Gloucester put out an incredibly weak side at the weekend there tho.assfly wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 8:25 amWhat are you suggesting? I think you're being quite realistic. They're both having horror seasons, but the travel factor may be too much for the $harks.LoveOfTheGame wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 9:25 am I guess I am just being overly pessimistic, but I just have not seen anything consistently from them this year to suggest they have it in them to travel to London and beat Gloucester.
We also still have to play Cardiff and Bulls which may both be losses, as we will have to rest our key players for the Gloucester game.
This season. Eish.

Whilst the side Gloucester put out was very weak, it was hardly a squad of kids, there were only half a dozen or so of the 23 who are academy players, but they've all played for the first team this season the the rest of the 23 have played as starters or subs for the majority of the season.
I didn't see the game, the Saints selection looks strong on paper, but still, 90-0
Sorry I put you in the same boat as Sandyvagina and Ouboet....they really need to wind their necks in.LoveOfTheGame wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 9:25 am

All our teams have been inconsistent. And Sharks the poorest of the lot. I just feel the Sharks are on the right track to vastly improve next year.
URC is done for us....

Ospreys could get 10 points from their last two games, taking them to 50.
Lions face a tough couple of games, Glasgow will be going full bore at them, I think, they will be looking at two wins to take them out to 69 points at least.
Connacht also have a tough couple of games as Leinster will be chasing top spot and Stormers could get into the top four, if Connacht will be looking for a home win and maybe a point or two from the Leinster match, they could finish on 50.
I can't see Ulster gaining more than a couple of more points.
Munster at this stage in the season are notoriously strong, I think they'll beat both Edinburgh and Ulster, probably with two BPs, taking them to 68 points.
I think the Benetton v Edinburgh game is going to be a knock out for the 8th spot

I am afraid that you casting shade on players sets you up with Ouboet...can't forgive your arrogant snipes. Rather vokkof

Sharks are allowed to lose this weekend. Stormers , Bulls and Lions need to win.
$harks are sending their A team to London already, so not expecting great things from our youngsters against Cardiff.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 3:32 am Sharks are allowed to lose this weekend. Stormers , Bulls and Lions need to win.
