He's choosing a particular way to end it which rewards and will embolden an imperialisatic aggressor nation, one that is only ever a bad faith actor on the global stage.

The killing can stop tomorrow if Putin pulls out of the country he invaded, yet all the pressure is being exerted on Ukraine to accept losing significant parts of their territory that are also of great economic importance. No nation in the world.

It's bullshit and sets a dangerous precedent that Russia can do whatever the fuck it wants to neighbouring territories. Hand-wringing about the death involved in Ukraine defending itself is just the latest nonsense Fox News talking point to justify bending over for Putin.

Astonishing that four judges would agree that it's legal to not pay for contracted work that has already been completed.
Probably means he only needs another one to start winning everything he needs there, the extra one on his side, would reduce the voices against, and make dissension less likely.

Ukraine refused to comply with the Minsk agreements. And crossed a Russian red line regarding Nato. With assistant from the US. And started killing and removing the right of Russia speaking regions.

But you've read Russia is the bad guy so lets waste huge money and maybe start WW3

And whats more negotiations have no even started yet. Its likely all Russia want is

-No Nato
-Keep regions that want to be part of Russia anyway. And always were either part of Russia or part of the USSR until recently
-Trade with countries. Like selling cheap gas to Germany. Germany (and Europe) will benefit more than Russia
-Unfreeze Russian assets

But let have a major war instead.

Conservative Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh dissented.

Alito said he was stunned by the judge’s order forcing the Trump Administration to pay $2 billion in foreign contracts.

“Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the Government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer dollars? The answer to that question should be an emphatic “No,” but a majority of this Court apparently thinks otherwise. I am stunned,” Alito wrote in a scathing dissent.

None of which answers the question. Which makes it pretty clear you don't want to answer it. I can understand idiots wanting to support Trump, that like his strongman schtick, that even perhaps want a dictator. But the idea of not paying someone who's already done the work doesn't fit into many peoples notions of fair, whether they like the toxic wotsit or not. But at least you've made it clear that you're nothing like an honest interlocuter, so I'll have no issues just blocking you from now on.

Let's be honest here before he's castigated by dissatisfaction about his posts.
Has he broken any rules? No.
Just because the majority of the posters on here hate Trump, should he be banned for posting pro cunt, sorry, Trump bullshit? Again, no.
If I Zapp him, that is effectively censoring free speech, which this forum proudly upholds, unlike the slightest mention of a sausage on the other place.
ATM, he has broken no rules so sorry, you can block him, but, until he oversteps the mark, he's free to post.

They used to have a nice feature on another board I used to occasionally post on, where when users were sailing close to the edge, their accounts were restricted to post on just one thread on the board, so people didn't have to put them on ignore & shout any others who replied to them.

If you wanted to try & engage with them, you had to seek them out in the "Naughty Step" AKA "Trolls" thread, they didn't pollute everywhere.
