Thanks chaps.
In short, I had an "incident" of which I am unaware and has not been tracked down.
I spent 7 days in intensive care at Peterborough Hospital followed by a fortnight on a ward. I was unconscious when picked up by the ambulance and remained so in an induced coma for 3 days before being woken up.
Having spent all that time flat on my back I'm as weak as a kitten.
Home now, sleeping on a hospital bed in the lounge. Managed to stagger a few metres with a walking frame this morning. Got carers coming in 4 times a day.
The Management has been just an utter star. I married well!
Just a slow route to recovery.

I can put up a pic of my tracheostomy hole with sutures in it (the tube has been taken out) but alas not anything of note.
Taking pics has not exactly been at the top of priorities.

Take it steady old chap - no need to rush it. Good to hear that you're making solid progress.
I'm in for an endoscopy tomorrow - not looking forward to that.

It's not too bad Ovals. Had the camera down my throat a few times. Not had one the other way yet!

Not up to yelling yet! Finding it hard to whistle too.
I'm told these will take some while.
Just booked in to see an ENT consultant.
