Not that I know him personally, but general consensus seems to be he's a decent bloke that gets on well with teammates.

I see no reason why he couldn't be a decent coach, just on that basis. Besides, being a grumpy twat never stopped Cockerill.
Looking at most coaches, being a grumpy twat seems to be a pre-requisite.

Always felt the stick Mike Brown got for that interview after the Wales 15 loss was deeply unfair. He spoke his mind and how he was feeling was blindingly obvious, much better than a ‘fans were class, credit to Wales’ interview.
