I've "known" Seamie O'Dowd as an internet chum for a long time, he's a savage trad musician, singer, fiddle player and guitarist.
He also does lots of covers, he is a huge Seal fan and you can hear that here, I think, in this Huey Lewis song, Kieran Quinn is on keyboard and he does a grand job.

TBH most of Sinéad O'Connor's stuff will sound better sung by somebody else.

Just 'discovered' a Canadian psychedelic band (been around since at least 2009 ... man, I'm so outta touch! ). Anyway, love this cover...

... some people in comments saying they didn't 'belt it' enough, but the Doors tribute album version is more intense:

Not technically a cover, more a parody/sample, but I'm laughing my butt off at how good the 'purple, striped jeans' bit is!

Lee Moses also does a good cover - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdAU-x6206w

See also Lee Moses' cover of Hey Joe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL04E1APQnY

However, my favourite Hey Joe cover is by Willy DeVille - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jk-UmP2uhPI

wow really great! Mike Skill here, From The Romantics....I came up with the music in the late 70's and our Drummer Jimmy Marinos wrote the lyrics and the rest is history...Great recording, thank you for doing it so classy and cool!
