I would have no hesitation on pulling the trigger on these c*nts
Too good for them. I'd want to see so much worse done to them.
I hate seeing shit like this, it absolutely wrecks me when I think of my own boy.

Heard about that yesterday. Unreal and having a son a similar age it really took the wind out of me, as these things tend to. Worst of the worst
Literally felt sick to the stomach reading that - the poor little lad
A quick death is far too good for these 'people' - chemical castration before whatever form of torture is legally allowed. And after a few years of that, let prisoners with kids loose on them.

I saw the video of this yesterday - and honestly - I have been feeling pretty awful and down since.
I want to be a good person - but I would really like something painful and ultimately fatal to happen to them. And I think that is why I am feeling so low.

Reading more on it today there had been at least two social services referrals. One by the boy's grandmother. Social services dropped the ball and put various injuries down to boisterous play etc.
Who cares if the torture is legally allowed? Hung drawn and quartered slowly is my preference.salanya wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 12:41 pm Literally felt sick to the stomach reading that - the poor little lad

How the f**k does a child slip through the entire system for 6 years?
Sadly there is no punishment for these scum that will ever be enough.

Interesting . My instant reaction is to blame the parents, but others talk about social services and systems instead.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:34 pm How the f**k does a child slip through the entire system for 6 years?

To be clear I'm absolutely blaming the parents (or father and step mother anyway). Absolute scum.assfly wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:41 pmInteresting . Only mentioned social services as it's pretty clear that opportunities for intervention were missed. They saw this kid several times before his death from what I understand and didn't feel there was anything of concern there.

Absolutely the parents (or guardians or whatever they are) are primarily to blame. But the reason we have systems of protection in society (social services, the police etc) is an acknowledgement that scumbags exist.assfly wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:41 pmInteresting . There are good and bad social services, i have some inside knowledge on the pressure they are under, the amount of local government cuts that have happenned in the last 20 years has put huge pressure on them as in most cases, Social Services take the brunt of it. There are exceptions such as the Shoesmith case where that shitwitch should have been locked away for presiding over such incompetance.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:44 pmTo be clear I'm absolutely blaming the parents (or father and step mother anyway). The other problem you have is that parents like this are notoriously cunning in concealing shit like this, they are like Paedo's in that sense, extremely well versed in how to hide their abuse. Unless we invest many many more millions in Social Services we are going to just see more and more cases like this. If of course it is found that SC has dropped the ball here, then they deserve to burn as well. Unfortunately it is not always so black and white.

Fuck.
Watching the video was bad, "fortunately" no sound. Then the audio clips - I shouldn't have listened to that. I'm crying.
I am the legal guardian of a boy of 15. His mother, useless bitch that she is, at least gave him to us, after having been assaulted by both his mom and all her partners, mostly mental abuse but with the occasional fists every now and again.
We got him 2 years ago. Just about every day we hear more of what happened during his childhood. It's terrifying, despite being nowhere close to the boy in this article. But it's not easy, listening to my boy when he starts opening up really make me want to go to his mom and beat the living shit out of her.
And I know my son isn't lying. They were our neighbours when we stayed in another town a couple of years ago. I called child service on them on a couple of occasions, the first for not letting him go to school, thereafter various incidents.
He's now a changed boy... or man rather. Calls my wife and I mom and dad. Doesn't communicate with his biological mother at all; he can't in any case as she blocks him on Whatsapp most of the time.
He's a young man, but it's rather telling how much he hugs and kisses my wife and I, even in front of his friends.

The point is pretty much every party failed this poor little lad, and that makes it all the more heartwrenching.assfly wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:41 pmInteresting . I'm just safe-guarding those who need to do the work - don't want anyone to face any questions or repercussions at any stage for doing what needs to be done.ASMO wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:01 pmWho cares if the torture is legally allowed? Chemical castration is definitely too good for them still - let it be done slowly with a very blunt knife or spoon.
I genuinely don't understand how anyone can do that to another human being, let alone such a young child, let alone your own child. Just beyond awful.

Puts our trivial pains into perspective, doesn't it.
As a parent, as a human being, the gut reaction is to want to exact terrible retribution on these horrific people, they have committed the worst of crimes, they were the ones who were supposed to look after the child, to protect and nurture him,...
There is something very wrong with these “parents”, they do not deserve the privilege of that term, but there is something very wrong with them.
I believe that the state should not kill those convicted of any crime, as it’s revenge and doesn’t stop the nutters.
To do what these bastards did to a child is not normal by any stretch of the imagination, there is a mental health issue there, killing them will not stop the next case.
I would not be so analytical if my child were hurt by some brute, but that is exactly why I would not be an expert witness in that case, there should be a dispassionate discussion about rehabilitation, punishment and also into mental health

So many kids in care currently in the UK. Says something not great about UK as a society in how those with no voice and political say have been treated.Margin__Walker wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:14 pm.ASMO wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:51 pm

The same issues you mention exist here in Japan, where a chronically-underfunded system is expected to perform miracles with parents who are masters at concealing their activities, though there are some cases where a given department was aware of the abuse but failed in its duty to take the required action. usually resulting in very young children dying horrific deaths.ASMO wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:51 pmThere are good and bad social services, i have some inside knowledge on the pressure they are under, the amount of local government cuts that have happenned in the last 20 years has put huge pressure on them as in most cases, Social Services take the brunt of it. I do find it strange that no one has noted that this happened last year and it is very likely that without the lockdowns with the child in school he would have been at less risk and this would have been more likely to have been picked up.Kiwias wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 12:43 amThe same issues you mention exist here in Japan, with a chronically-underfunded system is expected to perform miracles with parents who are masters at concealing their activities, though there are some cases where a given department was aware of the abuse but failed in its duty to take the required action. usually resulting in very young children dying horrific deaths.ASMO wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 2:51 pmThere are good and bad social services, i have some inside knowledge on the pressure they are under, the amount of local government cuts that have happenned in the last 20 years has put huge pressure on them as in most cases, Social Services take the brunt of it. Worked for Social Services..childrens services, adults, all 9ver, hardest job you could ever wish for.
Turns out childrens information is protected by law and any mistakes can make the person inputting it legally responsible.
So what get is massive data errors everywhere, as Social workers do not want to touch it, or input information incase it is wrong.. admin staff are terrified of touching it and the whole information side is a mess and the whole thing is left to temps.
The Tories did away with Joint Reviews (that labour put in place) as they didn't want Social Services departments across the country to face the same scrutiny they used to beat the previous labour government over the head with..
If you worked in Social Services during a joint review, my gawd..you were in for it.
Christ, the tales I could tell.
Nothing but respect for Joint Review teams that used to cut through departments like a hot knife through butter, digging out all the incompetence.
Things I used to say to my Boss.
" Am I being used as a Scapegoat for the disaster in Childrens Services"
" Do you really think you (or the department) are worth saving".
"Do you mind me asking why he left"
" Sorry if I looked fucking horrified there for a Second" (when he was screaming at someone in the phone).
Things my boss used to say to me
"If it is me or you, its you".
Happy days.
