Not sure the League match counts as losing a World Cup; they were only competing to find out who will lose to Australia in the final.

Arguably 4 if you count the Billie Jean Cup.
I'm hoping Pakistani Rashid and Saffer Curran could help reverse that sequence...but Liam Livingstone not starting well

That’s Great Britain and Ireland, not England. Get it fucking right.

Not true.
England won the first Rugby World Cup Sevens at Murrayfield in 1993 in normal time, and the England Women’s Rugby team won the World Cup in 2014, again in normal time.

Indeed.
The first Yorkshire CCC player of Pakistani heritage
And now the first Yorkshire CCC player to be a double world champion.
Little Sam, is a native of Northampton (your rugby parish?) and player of the tournament.
They both brilliantly helped ensure England won at least one World Cup.

Comically so, when Kieswetter was having such a great time destroying the opposition attack by belting them over extra cover he stepped away so far he couldn't reach one and was clean bowled without even bothering to play a shot. Beat the Aussies with 3 overs to spare. KP in his pomp, etc.

Just watched England win the wheelchair RL World Cup. It was actually pretty exciting and brutal stuff, better than watching normal rugby league I reckon.

Totally agree. Was quite surprised at the brutality and so much more entertaining that normal league. The kicking for posts was a bit weird though
