Currie Cup
Well done Pumas. The better team and they wanted it more. Best of luck in the final.
There were remnants of the previous' weeks calamity in our performance, despite the change of personnel. I don't mind having a kicking game, but you've got to land the box kicks in the right places and have a decent chase, of which we had neither.
Fassi was woeful. He really hasn't gotten anywhere near his form that made him a Bok, it's such a shame. I was starting to think that perhaps Vincent Tshituka is a CC-level player hence is poor URC form, but he isn't even that as he was completely outplayed by the Pumas back row.
Anyway, another painful season behind us. It's a real shame as we actually looked pretty good for most of it, then we have two bad games in a row and we're out.

I have a strange warm fuzzy feeling in my heart this morning. Like walking into a house form a bitter cold night and finding a rocking chair Infront of a hot old coal stove and a fresh cup of Vrystaat "I told you so" waiting.

Cheetahs looked mighty impressive over the Bulls, who were clearly fatigued and disinterested. Johan Goosen forgot he was there to play rugby and was petulant and poor. Go Vrystaat! Well done to the Puma's as well, good luck in the final. Hopefully see a better crowd for the final.

Ja Vrystaat allie pad for me. They play the Stormers brand of running rugby backed by solid defense (which was always their problem in the past). Lovely to watch. Gideon van der Merwe & Jacques Rudolph do some great work in the rucks.

A great night out at the Harare Sports Club where DHL WP XV ran in 10 tries. Thanks to our hosts the Zimbabwe Goshawks and all the locals who came out to support.

I watched the Superrugby final this morning. Much better quality in the CC final. Cheetahs will beat the Crusaders with ease.Chilli wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 4:03 pmA very good advert for SA rugby in general!Insane_Homer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 3:56 pmMissed the first 20.

Johann Rupert & Motsepe already 74% shares in the Bulls, bought 75% shares of Boland. Boland have 216 clubs, most in World Rugby.

Its not something new. The Bulls is stock with Boland players (Moodie, Arendse, Chris Smith, Cornal Hendricks, Embroise Papier, Keagan Johannes, Zak Burger, Johan Grobbies, Muller Uys, Stedman Gans, Stravino Jacobs)
They run a sponsorship for young Boland schoolboy kids at Garsies. Give them everything to come up north.

You can blame transformation targets. Black kid's op here only wants to play football for shithouse Chiefs and Pirates. The schools here are forced to import from the EC.
