What the UFOck is going on?

I've just read that the US has shot down an 'octagonal' object over Lake Huron. Without double checking, I think there was the spy balloon that was shot down, a cylindrical, car-sized flying object that was shot down over Alaska, a UFO over Montana that disappeared before they could tackle it, and now this one. In addition, the Chinese reported that they downed a UFO near one of their ports the other day.
Government plot to put us all in another lockdown? Procter & Gamble conspiracy to sell more Bacofoil?

I’m not anti semitic or anything, in fact some of my best friends are gas fitters, but I think it’s safe to say the Chinese have stepped up the provocation game and are taking the piss.
Either that, or it’s aliens.

And I am too afraid to add a laughing emoticon after that because while I feel it is shockingly funny and deserves one, I don't want to get on the wrongs side of the more politically correct posters on this forum. I am too new on here and want to create a good impression.

Not only are aliens responsible for these UFOs, but they can also travel back in time to write articles that make it look like these incursions are due to regular humans.
