Really weird experience tonight

At the Edinburgh festival at a venue that has made all its toilets gender neutral. I'm of the opinion I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, and I know the place, so I still seek out what used to be the gents to use the urinals, as I reckon any woman / non binary / trans who goes in there knows or at least immediately see where they've walked into. So I was checking something on my phone and walking to the toilet and in front of me someone else was going in, I didn't pay any attention. But it was a cis woman and as she opened the door she turned round, blocking the door and saying 'there's another one down there'. In all honesty I was a bit non plussed and just wandered off to another toilet, but as I was I heard her make a slightly surprised / disgusted noise (I could see over her shoulder the sixty something guy, dick in hand, pishing in the urinal - she hadn't seen this).
It was only a couple of minutes later though, that I realised she had made an absolutely horrible assumption about me. I'm really quite fucking pissed off about it. It's preying on my mind how pissed off I am tbh. I mean it's funny in a way that she stopped me and then wandered in to a romm with an old fella with his cock in his hand, but she still made the assumption about me.

Gender neutral toilets means there's going to be men and women in them at the same time. If that's not ok with someone, if they can only assume the worst about one of the genders they might end up sharing space with, then they need to find other facilities to use. It's not on to make other punters feel shitty about just going about their business unless their business is of the 'funny' variety.

I'm pretty sure it's not the old fella you mentioned though.
