Tomkins and North both dropped from squad

Ballsy.
I note Danty is suspended for this one, no idea where that fits in Gats' thinking.

.......and picked the captain at 6, a position he's never played at club level before let alone an international
Smells somewhat desperate!!!

I’m ok with Ramos at 10, glad to see Depoortere and Barré, the problem he’s a 13 not a 12, all of this to keep Fickou
Might be a good game, your lost

I am only slightly ashamed that I yelled, "Get into 'em! Fuck 'em up!" in the closing stages of yesterday's match.

Referenced this before this 6N in a slightly different context, but Wales should have spent two weeks drilling getting the ball in and passed on by the 8, rather than ‘relishing the challenge’

The French kick chase is going to be exploitable. Goof kicks by French backs are getting returned well because the kick chase is poor.

The French supporters seem to be travelling in big numbers this year. Wonder why that is

France's defence has been absolutely shocking at times this tournament.

It has been a pretty poor quality 6N but this weekend has been batshit and shown why we love it so much.
I still hate it a bit this afternoon, but you get the general thrust

Le Garrec really has been so much better than Lucu. That little snipe and score underlines it.

Very genuinely I think the massive expansion of ability/willingness to speak English is a big factor.

What on earth was Williams doing to Le Garrec at the scrum to give away the pen?
Also eye roll at Nige. You don't have to be in control, you just can't lose contact.

That's four advantages in quick succession for various offences. When do Wales get warned?
