I want to open one but decided against it.

Expect the SH teams to get good results.

What's going on there?

Hard to find any info on this one, actually wasn't aware it was on to be honest.

If you call it the U20 Rugby world championship rather than RWC.

The French team is weakened a bit with Galthier pulling 3 or 4 guys for the argentine tour so it looks unlikely they get the 4th title in a row.

Had no idea that Spain had qualified for this, hope that they have sorted out the player eligibility issues after the debacles of the last few years. Hopefully younger players coming through will do away with the need for dodgy imports on residential grounds

7 handling errors in 12 minutes, to go with some awful decision making and some very messy set pieces

No flow whatsoever with the constant turnover pens or knock ons.

Good score by Argentina. England's fly half having an all round shocker so far

England just been poor all around, 3rd best team on the field after Argentina and the Officials.

That epitomised England right there, the 7 instead of passing for a 100% try decided to dummy and got smashed, absolute cretin

Never seen a Mapletoft team make so many bad decisions to not pass the ball

This is an absolute shitshow for England now, Argentina have recovered from their own shaky start and are by far the most comfortable now

He also thought it was a good idea to stand and watch his 8 get turned over instead of trying to clean out.

He's an extremely good player who has been superb for England before now, it's not like he's a bad player

Edit: and there he shows it - good skills, good try

England finally manage to string something together. That's a great try.

Reminscent of some of the 6N games from them now - a lot of middling, muddled play punctuated by brilliance.

Play rugby for 5 minutes and go in level at the break.

It is almost as if England suddenly realised they need to play rugby to win this game.

Whilst France are going to walk this, they have been bummed at the breakdown by Spain which is going to be a serious problem when they come to recognised teams.

Slight tangent but gets me every time. When are WR going to stop subs coming on the field after a try to celebrate. At some point there will be a reaction from an on field player getting a card.

I agree, hate that, no sub should be allowed anywhere on the field of play until they are actually subbed on.

What is it with players who just hang off a maul going backwards at a rate of knots, just dont get it, get your head in there and bloody push

Not really, they got a warning late in the second half, the 3 offside pens in a row near the line, easy yellow for me.

Yeah you can't be giving away three of the same offence in quick succession like that. It's going to weight on the ref's mind when he has to repeat "advantage" like that.

In a game with some fairly spectacular retaining of possession under pressure, that's fabulous by Bracken

Fair play to Bracken for his hattrick, but player of the match for me is the England tighthead, a beast of a player.

Ref having a bit of a mare here missing clear tackle in the air and a head to head, exocet clear out. Player safety being abandoned.

Lineout and breakdown have been an utter shambles for France. Lost count of turnovers now but well over 20 from those 2 areas.

Blacks will walk home against this showing.
