Bokke 23 pretty straightforward I think, only 3 position up for debate. Eightman, Kwagga or Roos, flyhalf Manie or Polly and outside centre Kriel or Am. Especially the latter is interesting. Has Kriel become the incumbent 13?!
Bench probably 5-3, as we are missing a utility back like Willemse, except they trust SMZ with it already.

Looking forward to this one.
Got my ticket and flying up to Pretoria on Thursday. The last test match I attended at Loftus was the 2nd Lions Test in 2009.
Hopefully a good omen and I hope the Boks reward my efforts with a good performance.

Nice one squirrel, enjoy Blake! Reckon the atmosphere in the stadium is going to be bonkers, hopefully the game also lives up to the hype.
Ps: Please do us all a favour and take the DJ out. We don't care how, naartjie.. take your kettie...anything. Just take him out. Please Blake, you're our only hope.

As i said, they needed a utility back for the 6-2 Split, hence SMZ

Very strong starting line up. Although personally I'm not mad about Kwagga starting at 8, but I think Rassie's hand has been forced on this one.
A few questions over the bench.

Has Steenekamp jumped a few props?

Would have loved to see Roos given a start at 8, Kwagga on the bench iso Marco. Maybe next test.
Selection is pretty straightforward, they wanted a 6-2 and 2 locks. Those are exactly the Players for that. Only surprise is Steenekamp, guess they want to see how he goes at the highest Level. And why not.

Very strong team and very happy with it. Given the available players, it's the exact one I would've selected.
If Jasper was available, I maybe would've started with him and had Kwagga on the bench instead of Marco. But that's it.

Steenekamp was great agains Leinster.
I think that counted heavily in his favour when it came to selection.

Actually would be very clever thinking from our coaches. Let him build on that Performance
Damian de Allende and Jesse Kriel equal the remarkable record of the most starting appearances for the Springboks as a centre combination, matching the record of the iconic Jean de Villiers and Jaque Fourie tally of 29.

Just read that on Planet Rugby:

If Fourie and DDA had partnered in Brighton instead of Miss Jean and Jessie, we wouldn’t have that black mark on our record.

Are the summer internationals on Prime this year? (in the uk)
Sky sport for the sa Ireland series
Thanks, I've been looking to see if samoa v italy is being shown anywhere, it's apparently on Sky in italy, but that's no help to me, no mention of it being shown on sky over here

Lucky I'm in a hotel this weekend so hopefully they will have the match on. Is it being shown after 9pm to protect small children from the footage of extreme violence?

How many times is Loftus going to play our song?
Haha unfortunately not that one, will only be the Cranberries version and the crowd will add Rassie into the chorus as usual
