I know you're being genuine but I properly laughed at that
We just have to stick to our formula. Just need to sort out our lineouts, and then make sure we smash them at the scrums and ruck.
England seem to be making a complete mess of the rush defence, so hopefully Pollard and le Roux can find a way through it.

My guess is that the forwards that started this weekend will come off the bench for the English, and the forwards that finished will start....and the likes of Kolbe , KLA and Fassi will bolster the backline as well as ....shudder ......Manie

Chelsea Pensioner Dan Cole vs the bomb squad. What could go wrong.
Ted Hill called up to squad as injury replacement for Tom Curry. So he gets to be fucked around again and sent back to Bath on Friday night.

I think Pollard is most likely going to be the only player in yesterday's backline that starts against England. With Hendrickse playing so badly yesterday it could count against Libbok starting with Hendrickse. Wet weather will count against him as well. Van Staden dropped.
But the boks have a lot of work to do this week, to many errors across the park and only really looked decent in the last 10 minutes of the game. They cannot afford another performance like that against England, we were lucky that Scotland could not capitalise on that performance the way the Argies did.

Agree with this, We can play the rest of the squad against Wales. It probably wont happen but I would love to see AE starting. He was brilliant on saturday.bok_viking wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 9:49 amI think Pollard is most likely going to be the only player in yesterday's backline that starts against England. 20 point margin seems about right. The odds point towards an uncompetitive match and easy SA win. The only way England could win is an early red card for a SA player. Our defence is awful and SA are a far better side than Australia. Borthwick needed to win 1 of these 3 fixtures. Outside of a hate watch I have better ways of spending my weekend than watching an uncompetitive rugby match.
Don't be silly. All of England's recent games have been close affairs. This one will also be close.petej wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 10:31 am 20 point margin seems about right. In France we were very lucky to beat England. They dominate us for 70 minutes.
Bok players turned up yesterday in Edinburgh and strolled around for 65 minutes. Rassie was punching his desk in frustration in the first half. No way the Boks will take England for granted and they'll be "on it" from minute 1.

There is always that something special when we play England and the All Blacks. It come from deep in our history. Rassie sure will use it.

Unequestionably a South Africa win. What's up for debate is the margin of victory and it's either going to be incredibly close or a real blowout, don't see much room for in between.
If we don't get our defence sorted out the SA back three will shred us out wide and run up a score.

Can't see us going from missing 36 tackles to solid in the space of a week.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 2:31 pm Unequestionably a South Africa win. Question is the margin of victory and it's either going to be incredibly close or a real blowout, don't see much room for in between.

The Boks have a choice:
a) run into the England defensive line, and win.
b) run around it, and win by a lot.

Scotland are better than England. They have beaten England the last 4 times they've played them. Boks strolled around for 65 minutes and won against Scotland but will be on it from minute 1 against England and lose.

Expect no surprises in the bok 23, except maybe who starts at 10. Libbok should never come on to close out a game, so I would have him starting

They learnt from the Aussies. Run the English into the ground. Sounds a decent plan to meboere wors wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 11:08 pm Expect no surprises in the bok 23, except maybe who starts at 10. Libbok should never come on to close out a game, so I would have him starting

Sards is just being naïve. He is confusing people associated with the media like TNT or a newspaper or others who monetise the game wanting to get viewers or readers by hyping the game for commercial reasons with people genuinely thinking England will be competitive. Facebook was a complete shit show of advertising and misinformation when I left it 2 years ago and probably hasn't got any better.

All I see is
The bomb squad makes the game unsafe.
WR must reduce the number of replacements
Springbok players are all giants.
Rassie is a wit kant.
Playing the Springboks is unfair.
