These cunce deserve some special place in a beige hell.Rob Alderson, editor of Design Week,, external said the rebrand caught him off-guard, but added that it may age better than fans expect.
"I was surprised, it didn’t feel to me like the Six Nations," he told BBC Sport. "But that might be exactly what they are going for.
"If they are trying to expand the Six Nations to reach new people, something that doesn't feel like the Six Nations is probably quite a smart move.
"The problem is we get this stuff as a visual, without the context of what they were going for or how it will be used.
"We haven't seen it in context, on kit, in stadiums or in on-screen graphics.
"The most famous example in the design world was the London 2012 logo – people hated that logo when it came out in 2007, but by the time the Games came round and people saw it on different things and around London, minds had changed and it had become sort of loved.
Australia have Cadbury, the 6N are fit to reveal their new sponsor:
There is absolutely no way that logo looks good on a kit."The problem is we get this stuff as a visual, without the context of what they were going for or how it will be used.
"We haven't seen it in context, on kit, in stadiums or in on-screen graphics.
I was going to say it could look worse, but then ... naw, what on earth were they thinking, okay some shrooms went down in that meeting right?

And here we have it, everything that is wrong in one sentenceIf they are trying to expand the Six Nations to reach new people, something that doesn't feel like the Six Nations is probably quite a smart move.

I'm down for that, it's a way better tune,.amd people might learn more than one line to bray.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Tue Dec 03, 2024 4:40 am It looks like something off Danger Mouse. Perhaps the next step is for the crowd to sing that theme tune rather than Swing Low.
I was in a bar in London last week and there was a Welsh male choir in who were on a tour. Magnificent couple of hours with them going through the full range of Welsh rugby classics. We answered with a FoS and a bit of Bonnie Banks, then a group of pissed up Inglishers did Swing Low. Everyone just went home after that.Hal Jordan wrote: Tue Dec 03, 2024 11:32 amI'm down for that, it's a way better tune,.amd people might learn more than one line to bray.ScarfaceClaw wrote: Tue Dec 03, 2024 4:40 am It looks like something off Danger Mouse. As for the logo, 100% designed to be viewable as a compressed icon on social media - see also Northampton's new badge.
Swing Low is beautiful when sung well. Which, of course, it rarely is.Slick wrote: Tue Dec 03, 2024 11:47 amI was in a bar in London last week and there was a Welsh male choir in who were on a tour.
