Right lads, who’s had it done and just how horrible is it?

Just had our 3rd kid earlier in the year and I don’t reckon my blood pressure could take a 4th. Plus I don’t want to have to move house again or buy a mini-bus.

The most surreal experience of my life. I had it done by a local doctor who was very heavily involved with Irish music (Planxty, Bothy Band etc were frequent visitors to his house).

His parents were very friendly with my paternal grandparents & he recognised my surname. He then proceeded to chat to me about Irish music stars that he knew & things that my grandparents had done at his family home; all the while I was I looking down my body at him working away & hoping that he actually was paying attention while he talked.

My missus used to work in chronic pain and a significant proportion of the males attending where nut sack graduates so no thanks. Something mad like 25% get chronic pain

was fine.

back riding my bike after a week

and the wife after a couple of weeks.

Ah it's not quite that high and they think a lot of it is psychosomatic. Certainly after a year.

Can only speak for myself and no issues after a few months (and those issues were minor). While it's not 100%, it's as close as and worth doing for peace of mind.

It probably would've been near perfect had the local not quite taken when he went in for the second bollock and I nearly hit the roof!!!

6-8 weeks before I could run again but that was more precautionary, about a years worth of the odd twang in the bollock pain. No swelling or bruising. the fellas were in full drop mode for a couple of years too, thought that was a perm effect but now finally seems be receding and the old sack is now toit like a tiger.

overall not too unpleasant, but I've heard the horror stories, one mate told me he had a very bad case of swelling and bruising.

Had it done when my ex got pregnant with our second child.

Still functioning just fine 30 years later.

It's high. Too high to take the risk of a permanently sore gooch

Not a bother to it really.

Two toughest things were the smell of cooking bacon while they were cauterising my bits - very discombobulating - and the fact I had to have 40 lemsips over the next 60 days to "clear the pipes". That was a bit more action than my todger had been used to, but by god I managed it
