Watching Standup comedy on YouTube with wireless headphones, going for a shit and having ads interrupt. Not only the fact you can't skip but Google will think you actually want to listen to that bollox.

- People that take excessive sick days
- People that lack self awareness when it comes to their poor work performance
- People who think being the Union delegate somehow absolves them from managing poor performance processes
- People who play the 'mental health' card so that they can take Long Service Leave whenever they want, without needing to give the normal notice
- People who access Domestic violence leave, even when everyone know they haven't been the victim of DV, simply because they have used all their usual sick leave

People retarded by resentment, or "resent'tards" as I call them.
People who are just a walking, talking puddle of fucking hatred.
People who tell you what they hate, all the time.
People who think everything is fucking ironic and who look for ironic narratives and takes everywhere.

"Ooo wouldn't it be really ironic if = yep that is definately what is happening" type cunts.

Ah life in a public school. Good times.

To be fair I recognise some of that behaviour in my own work environment.

It's hard not to be resentful when the reward for being a dependable and competent member of staff is to cover the work of lazy colleagues.

This problem has been addressed by many companies in the US by implementing Paid Time Off (PTO), this is the sum of your vacation allocation and the historically number of annual sick days averaged for the whole company, for example, 20 vacation days + 6 sick days = 26 days PTO. You then use PTO for your combined sickness and vacation time in any ratio that adds up to a total of 26 days for the year.

That's the one. It's verging on child abuse, him dragging those poor children into his schemes.

Overly opinionated celebrities who think their word is gospel.

You live in a bubble in a mansion, you most likely gained your fame & wealth being overpaid for a skill that is not really essential. You are so insulated from the effects of a job loss, financial downturn, crime and such please exhibit a modicum of self awareness and realise that you are out of touch with 99% of peoples realities.

Marvellous. Although being the US, for most people it's likely about 10 days PTO.

Our system here in the QLD Education dept is pretty generous in terms of time off. If you have run out of sick days you're either very sickly, or have had numerous young children and needed to take time off to support them. The challenge is Long Service Leave. Our rule is that people need to give a term's notice and take no less than 5 days off in a row (less than that and school's don't get reimbursed for the cost). There is flexibility though, and as soon as the term 'mental health' is mentioned that staff can pretty much take as much leave whenever they please. The same for DV leave.

Do you have salary continuation insurance? I'm covered for a year of salary at 80% rates I think it is in the event that I get something serious.
The other one is that I have discovered my sick leave accrues. Ive got around 90 days sick leave sitting there now. That will be used before salary continuation kicks in.

Yes we have that too. But there is a bit of a process to access it.

Our sick leave accrues as well. I've got three quarters of a school year in sick pay sitting there plus a bit more than half a year in unused Long Service Leave.
