Thought we should start a thread.

The thing that prompted me to start it is the news that it appears that Odell Beckham Jr will be considered the number two receiver for the Browns this year....

Titans v Steelers and Chiefs v Patriots Week 4 games have both been "postponed" due to covid outbreaks. Is this the beginning of the end for the season?

They seem to be confident that their protocols will allow them to play on Tuesday, assuming no more positive tests in the squads. Let’s see....

Tuesday sounds bloody early, with the likes of Cam Newton having tested positive. Is the Pats' back-up QB any good?

Let’s be generous and call him unproven.

From last night's games I'm taking a general opinion that the Big12 is a bit shit, although it's fun to watch. SEC looks, if anything, even more dominant, although that might be emphasised by the Big Ten not having started yet. Bama look frighteningly talented, Georgia are relentless, and Florida might have the best QB in the country, contrary to pre season opinion.

My top four at the moment would be 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Georgia 4. Florida, although that is substantially because Ohio State haven't played yet. I feel free to ignore Notre Dame as ever, because they're ranked at their usual for this point in the year, four or five places above where they actually should be due to the media love wank for them.

Can a 35 year old, 11 year vet be called unproven? :) Hoyer is apparently getting the start over Stidham. Hoyer may do enough to game manage a win but he can't keep up in a shoot out.

Sooner or later the Jets will have an O line worthy of the name, but by then Wilson will be more banged up than a groupie.

And his receivers might not drop everything...

What an astronomical idiot Ruggs is. Makes a thing if having lost a friend in a car crash when he was younger, then dies this.

Oh, and the team makes drivers available to the players at all times.

More trouble for the Raiders.
The Las Vegas Raiders released NFL star Damon Arnette on Tuesday (AEST) after a viral video showed the cornerback brandishing a gun and making threats to kill someone.

Arnette’s dismissal by the Raiders comes less than a week after the team cut receiver Henry Ruggs III following his involvement in a fatal drink-driving crash in Las Vegas.

...

The Raiders’ decision to fire Ruggs last week and now Arnette means the team has dismissed both of its first round picks from the 2020 draft.

None of the Raiders 2020 draft class is still with the team. Demonstrably the worst draft in NFL history.

Colts look well placed to win a wild card spot. Jonathan Taylor's playing brilliantly - not just his running but his blocking is something special.

Eagles are another team to watch.

Titan’s offensive seriously let down their defence. Tannehill had a shocker.

Yep, picked off on his first pass of each half...

Burrow's cool as a cucumber. How often does a team win when their QB gets sacked 9 times?

I think Burrow has now had eight must win games in his college and NFL career.

He's won all eight of them.

It's really funny now that the NFL panicked and dumped their daily testing for non vaxxed players this week just in case Rodgers caught covid.

Rams beat the Bucs 30-27 right on full time, after a typical Brady inspired 2nd half fightback just about gets them to OT.

Another key coaching error in the play offs by McDermott. Last year not being aggressive enough, this year not squibbing it or telling Bass to keep it from the end zone this year. Last year didn't cost the Bills this year it may well have.

Yes they still might have marched into fg range but at least take some seconds off the clock.

This was the Bills shot, best roster we've had in many a year. Now many of them are OOC.

At least Allen has shown he is mostly past the melt downs in big games.
