Is Ian Foster the worst All Black coach ever?

That was utterly disgraceful today.
Especially after last week's debacle in Brisbane.
Two utterly pathetic performances in a row. Foster is in charge, he is the ultimately responsible for this crap.

Troll away - he deserves it.
But some of the players need to look in the mirror as well. Unless they are doing this as a player revolt to get him sacked in which case, is it worth it?

Does he even have a catchphrase like “we are on a journey”?
He said he had no regrets about the mass changes last week but perhaps he may now. The risk with wholesale changes is that you have not one but two rusty teams. That has to come back to the coaching group.

A collective failure today, with unnecessary errors compounded by a miss-firing attack plan. It's not really the coaches fault when a fumble is followed by two silly penalties. Conversely the ABs showed nothing in being able to either breach the Puma's defense or make territory. Somehow the Puma's were running into space, the ABs into players.

Our game plan is confusing, we have 3x kickers in the starting 15 fighting to be playmaker in crucial areas in the game. Seems to be a lack of clarity in who calls the shots, Sam Cane does not have a captains IQ either and I don't think he carries the same mana as previous captains. The shortfalls goes beyond tactics and game plan, it's a lack of mental preparation, toughness and focus. That starts with man management and coaching.

All players over the past two weeks have looked shit. Do we sack them all? The coach is in charge, he and his assistants control every aspect of this squad.

Our gameplan is confused because our coach is confused. Too many play-makers and not enough people doing the hard, unfashionable work.
After the debacle in Brisbane we all expected a bounce back. It is clear that Ian Foster led teams aren't good enough to bounce back.
Well done NZR, you appointed the worst possible coach

Yes. 2/5 wins against the world's 6th and 10th ranked teams, one of whom hasn't played a test in 400+ days and didn't even make the quarter finals last year, is a disgrace.
Our scrum is poor, lineout unreliable, and discipline non-existant. Almost every player looks worse playing in this team than they did in SR Aotearoa.
There is no way we would be seeing this under a Razor/Whitelock regime.

40% win rate only. 2 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw.
Players used to come into the AB team and lift (Nonu being a good example). My fear is that we are starting to see the opposite.

By a distance. He's awful from selection table to coaches box and even the optics of him in said coaches box head in his hands was dreadful.

Most fans had massive doubts about Foster's appointment, it would not be surprising if those same doubts are now creeping into even the most optimistic players thoughts as well. These players don't look as if they are playing with complete and utter confidence in the gameplan/leadership.
The poor positioning and inability to see and find space is something I haven't seen in an All Blacks side in a long time.

Yep, they look like a side that's lost its way. And yet, a few weeks ago they looked a million dollars...

I’ll always remember in the Amazon documentary.
Hansen saying to put Rieko on the the left wing in training .
Foster replied “ it’s a dumb idea today “
Ioane scored two stunning tries in the victory over lions that week .
He’s an ass hat.

Just be thankful it's happening now and not a year before the World Cup. It's a wake up call... will the NZRU wake up?
I hope NZ don't somehow fluke an unbeaten 2021 with Foster as coach.. cause he'll get another two years then...
Today was like NZ in the World Cup against England... and SA/Ireland a few times in recent years... they can't handle physical confrontation... I suspect there are probably only a few coaches who could bring that back properly.. Rennie for one, but he's unavailable. Could Scott Robertson? I'd like to find out...

I disagree. We bounced back after Wellington and we also played very well for Bled 3. Sky put together a tape with some of the All Black errors last night, ones you would not expect them to do, and it was a very long reel.
I will join you in blaming Fozzie but there is no way that an All Black should be making the errors we did last night. The players share the blame in my book.
And, spend a minute to praise the Argentinians who forced those errors upon us.

Nope. Got to disagree with you Enz. Whenever England use to fail at football world cups was always the coaches fault. We kep picking the wrong one time and time again. With a good coach we would have won at least 4 of them by now.....or maybe 5.
