Already looking to be a sack of shit and its not even released yet.

Needs a TPM chip on your mother board. My 4 year old PC doesnt have one ( though there is supposedly a work around)
And you need to have a webcam to use a laptop/tablet

Thought the whole use Android apps might have been good but you need to use the Windows store to access the Amazon store to use them   How dumbarse is that?

Sticking with win10 till after end of life in 2025

Been through so many Windows "upgrades" that I'm very nervous about immediately upgrading.

I recall some horror stories. If it hadn't been for my whopping Seagate back-up drive, I'd have been in serious ordure.

Plenty of new PCs don't have the TPM chip either, which is curious.

Trusted Platform Module, i.e. something that's used for security and DRM purposes.

Hum. I've got a bit of kit that gets around DRM. I've no idea where it is! But I'm not a film buff, so it's not really a problem.

I think it goes back to the "format war". VHS vs. Betamax.

My i6700K processor which was top of the range when I bought it 2016 is not supported

My system doesn't have a TPM module although I could probably add one although given the issue above I don't think I'll bother.

I've stopped using Windows for personal computing years ago - I do virtually all my personal stuff on ChromeOS

TEAMS baked into the Operating System

PC pretty much state on the art gaming PC bought less than a year ago, fails because of the TPM chip requirement. It's £10 to get one, none is stock from ASUS.

My laptop is still running Windows 7. I'm waiting for it to become an antique, possibly valuable to archaeologists.

Leave it for a while. Give it's lat and long and I'll dig it up.

Possibly the most fantastic Roman or Greek discovery.

Still not a huge amount of actual detail about what is changing under the hood of the OS.

Just to many fanboi's frothing over the curved corners and frosted glass looks.
Though a lot of the hardware Youtubers sound pretty peeved about it all.

My 7700k and z270 mobo apparently are likely to old , but there appears to be some Intel security switch in the BIOS that could work

Needing an actual Microsoft account and internet to activate . Another POS.
Microsoft wants your Data to sell on.

Its over a decade since I did anything in Linux, I am getting to old to want to relearn stuff.

Scalpers buying up TPM chips. LOL That is kind of funny.

I keep an ancient Acer laptop from 2006 for playing occasional games of Civ 3.
