They all kick away possession. Dumb rugby.
I have to agree.

Dismal game.

Zero accuracy in the passes from everybody, but particularly from Hendrikse who made sure that Bosch either took the ball at his bootlaces or over his head.

Headless chickens - but I suppose it's to be expected if you leak 3 tries in the first few minutes.

They don't appear to have learned anything from the game against the Gauteng Lions and were taken completely by surprise. Hopefully the 'Boks will know what to expect.

Very disappointing.

I love the hatred shown to the Sharks side here by Sandy Vagina. The chick with a stick. And of course Cartman.

Definitely a case to pity these sad individuals who have nothing good to say about their fellow citizens. No loyalty or allegiance to their country of birth.

Looking forward to watching developments from here going forward. Especially as WP could not even beat the Griquas. A second division side in South Africa yet their supporters are the most vocal in having a dig at the Sharks.

Very sad reflection on their characters

I won't make excuses for the Sharks who have lost 10 starting players to the boks. The players that took the field did their best

I cannot see the boks beating the BILs.
We are so far off the pace whereas the BILs are so far ahead of it. And the skill levels are something else. Interplay, passing and intensity. I fear we are in for a hiding. We have deluded ourselves that we are all that because we are the RWC champions. Who have not played a proper test since our RWC victory. No exposure to the Kiwis and Aussies. Which was celebrated by our erstwhile posters who got great joy out of giving the Kiwis the middle finger and telling them to vok off. Because we are the RWC champions. . We are so undercooked. It's just not funny.

How do you think the boks would have played against that sharks side yesterday?

Well that went about as well as expected. Can't be too hard on the Sharks, for half of that team they were in way above their head. We've been so used to playing shitty Currie Cup against similarly shit teams that we were blown away by another team of professionals who actually had a gameplan and applied it.

The good: pity about the yellow card, but I thought Kok was our best player. Looked hungry, made some good tackles and got stuck in. Buthelezi and Venter were our best forwards and also put in a good shift. I thought our scrum did ok, considering our no-name front row was up against a very good Lions trio.

The bad: our entire backline. They are barely Currie Cup level, so this was just an embarrassment. Locks were totally missing in action. Responsible for the majority of our 24 turnovers.

The absolutely fucking dogshit ugly: Bosch. Enough now, just get rid of him. Doesn't even try anymore. Half the Lions points can be attributed to his lack of defence and poor kicking. I'm done with him.

It will be sad if you lose him. The Sharks will be such a better team without him in 10. How many possession , even within the Lions 22, he kicked away.

I'm not sure where you stand on this Oom.

We kicked less than the Lions. But our kicks were shit in both execution and chase.

The $harks were simply outclassed.
The two Lions games so far has shown that we don't really have the talent available once the Boks are out.
Most of the players really tried their best, but were just not good enough.
The less said about Bosch the better. When does his contract end?

If I was Gatland, my first priority would be to see that Faf de Klerk leaves the field on a stretcher.

We really don't seem to have anybody else.

Courtney Lawes will probably be up for it.

Agreed. I felt there were a fair few missed offside penalties, but credit to the Lions for pushing the ref to the limits.

Let's hope Kolisi has a word with the ref early on to look out for this.

Dobson needs to start talking about it now. Get the Lions behind the offside line before the Tests start.

We need ouboet Akker to mark him.

Duhan is class and will rub it in.

Interesting that he chicken ran from Jake Whites current province to his previous club in France

Can't help but feel that IrnDu would rather be playing for South Africa.

Don't get me wrong, he gives it everything when playing for Scotland but just get the sense he's a proud South African.

Is he considered a loss or not?

To be honest, I didn't even know about him until he started playing for Edinburgh. He's obviously improved tenfold as a player since leaving SA, so I wouldn't consider him as one that slipped through the net.

Considering at the moment we have the likes of Kolble, Mapimpi and Nkosi, I'm not sure he would talk in to a Bok side.

But best of luck to him, he's taken his opportunity and run with it. I'm sure he'll be back in SA when he's retired.

He is a massive loss. We have real speed in Kolbey and Mampimpi, , Duhan have speed and power.

and Ja he is a South African: in murg en been!

I dont quite get the fuss about the Lions. The Sharks werent competitive on paper, and on top of that played absolutely shit. Any tear 1 test team would have excelled against them, no need for enthusiasm. The boks would have put 50+ on them as well. It was a pointless practice match for them. It is history repeating to 2009, where the Lions blew all the provinces away, just to receive a hammering in the first test, lamenting the sheer power that the boks had come at them. Even Gatland sees that as a problem and is outspoken about it. So really no need to worry, yes we are undercooked, but so are they. And on top of that, being talked up. Just like the 2009 side. I dont mind if it all goes the same way as back then.

The reality is that, as a white wing in SA, he’d need to have been significantly better than the alternatives. Transformation remains a priority and he plays the one position in which we’ve never had issues finding quality black players.

Bit of revisionism about that first Test given the Lions lost it 26-21 and the Boks had to pull a fast one to get Smit back on

Yeah, I'm probably being overly cynical. I'm just remembering CJ Stander's late hit on Lambie which ended his playing career.

The point I'm making is that, after Faf de Klerk, I don't think we've got a scrum half worthy of the name. Certainly not in Cobus Reinach, anyway.

I don't doubt Drico might have said something about the Boks sheer power taking them aback, but 26-21 isn't a hammering by any measure.

Currently I don't worry about the Springbokke chance against the Lions. I am hoping and praying Corvid don't destroy the tour and will appreciate any game/test.

Yes, Vickery was personally outplayed by his opponent at the scrum.

That still doesn't translate to the Lions being hammered in a game they lost by 5 points with the opposition panicking towards the end.

With two thirds of the starting lineup at the boks the least you could have been is less critical...who do you support. Scotland,England or Wales

Ar least we didn't lose to Griquas
