If it’s a strike to the face it’s red. Saders sore losers? Not used to not getting it their own way.

Good game wasn't going to say anything till the result because the saders just always seem to be able to pull it back.

Yeah, that was a great game. The Canes looked like they had a winning lead going into the last ten minutes but the Saders stayed in it till the whistle.

Fair play. The canes turned up and beat us in our back yard.

No complaints... the R Mo kick v JB kick being the decider. Grrrrr

In a boozy haze, I didn’t quite follow that last play when Will Jordan broke down the right. Did Jamie Booth track back, make the tackle and force the penalty? TV here was only interested in replaying the fisticuffs.

With the saders needing to play the blues at Eden park, this comp is now very open.

I’ve said this over and over. You guys need to have your own comps. Have this, the Currie Cup and whatever shite the Aussies come up with, then if you want a SH competition, you take two or three from each league, and do it short and sharp in two months. But critically, they’re two separate competitions.

Yes. Classic case of an occasion where being too quick results in you getting away from your own support.

Thought Barrett did very well in that moment to not engage with the tackle so he could go straight for the ball. Very easy in that situation to think you needed to make sure of the tackle.

Very gracious, AC. 👍. I'm still in my boozy cloud. What does this mean for the permutations of the comp? I would love the Blues to sneak a lead, but on the evidence of tonight, if the Saders don't secure the win, the Hurricanes deserve the title.

Unfortunately you’ve got to think that the Crusaders will win the next two games comfortably, which might mean their visit to the Blues in the last week is academic.

Yep. But to be fair, they looked good tonight, too. I thought Goodhue looked out of sorts. But the rest of the team looked fantastic, especially Mo'unga and the back three.

A great and mighty win for the Windy City and its colonies because it brings the Crusaders back within striking distance of the Blues on the ladder.

Ah, fair play. You’ve always fronted up, except when in one of your mischievous moods.

Good result for the competition but I hope I don't say the same thing later today.

The best game I have seen for quite some time as the players seem to have sorted out what they have to do at the breakdowns and the game is far better for it.

Yep, it makes for a much more enjoyable spectacle.

Great result for the Canes...and they did it with a makeshift front row as well.
