Wonder if the people boycotting GB News were the same ones outraged by advertisers pulling out and then campaigning to have their products boycotted?

Is GB News only watched by people with their entire blood supply permanently directed to a throbbing vein in their forehead?

Interesting appointment!
A former Bullingdon Club member and university friend of Boris Johnson has been appointed to Whitehall’s independent sleaze watchdog, the Guardian can disclose.
Ewen Fergusson, a City solicitor, was announced on Thursday as one of two new members for the committee on standards in public life. A Whitehall source said the appointment was approved by No 10.
Fergusson, who has spent most of his career at international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, appeared behind Johnson and two along from David Cameron in the infamous 1987 photograph of the exclusive, male-only Oxford dining club. Permission to republish the photograph has since been withdrawn by Gillman & Soame, the Oxford portrait photographers who hold the copyright.
Fergusson’s appointment has enraged one former chair of the committee. Sir Alistair Graham, who held the role for four years until 2007, said the appointment was a “pathetic” attempt to recruit an old friend of the PM to an independent committee.

So what's this "pilot sheme" that appears to only be available to cabinet ministers? Gove 2 weeks ago and now thje blonde slug and his next door neighbour
Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak will not need to isolate despite being “pinged” by NHS test and trace after contact with the health secretary, as they are part of a pilot scheme, according to Downing Street.
The prime minister and the chancellor were both contacted by test and trace as contacts of Sajid Javid, according to a spokesperson for No 10.

It took less than 3 hours for the grumbling from the back benches to reach the ears of Princess nutnut. She must have been devastated that she'll now have to postpone her hols, until the oaf completes his isolation.

Interesting that the Blonde Bumblecunt was in Downing Street first thing but magically was in at Chequers to isolate there a matter of hours later. The new Barnard Castle? Driving miles in order to get to somewhere nicer in order to isolate is against the rules, I presume he was driven and a pound to a penny he didn't wear a mask for the journey. They really are taking the piss ... again! I assume Cressida is on the case?

Can't stay in a large, garden flat with peeling wallpaper. That would be barbaric and probably against his basic human rights.

He will have gone by helicopter.

I do think this constant criticism of everything he does rather takes away from the real deserved criticism to be honest. Number 10 is a busy bustling office so probably best a possibly infected person is not there. And he’s not an ordinary member of the public, he’s the PM

He has a very expensively decorated large flat and access to the garden. He has been supplied food by an anonymous Tory donor and was able to recuperate there after he had contracted covid. He is not on the 14th floor of a tower block with 3 screaming kids and on benefits for fecks sake! 10 days holed up in Downing Street would be feckin luxury for 90% of the public. He has been caught out flouting the rules ... again.

They can't even get the story right about when he went to Chequers.
in space of 30 mins at lobby, PM’s official spox says:
- PM arrived in Chequers “at start of weekend”
- he travelled there “on Friday morning”
- he travelled at 3pm on Friday afternoon

Hard to escape feeling somebody not being entirely straight here.

Hmmmmmm; has the Bumblecunt passed his sell by date ?

If Kuenssberg is briefing against a sitting Tory PM, that can't be good.
Boris Johnson was reluctant to tighten Covid restrictions as cases rose last autumn because he thought people dying from it were "essentially all over 80", Dominic Cummings has claimed.

He also said the prime minister had messaged him to say: "I no longer buy all this NHS overwhelmed stuff."

Mr Johnson had wanted to let Covid "wash through the country" rather than destroy the economy, Mr Cummings said.

The claims came in an interview with BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg.

It is the first time Mr Cummings - Mr Johnson's former chief adviser - has given a one-on-one TV interview during his career in politics.

In response, Downing Street said the prime minister had taken the "necessary action to protect lives and livelihoods, guided by the best scientific advice" throughout the pandemic.

And the government had prevented the NHS "from being overwhelmed through three national lockdowns", a spokesperson added.
Are we in for another change of PM, in the Autumn; with the knuckle draggers of Tory Membership, appointing a new PM;without the messy details of a General Election ?

So at 9:00am this morning
This morning Paul Scully, the business minister, offered an alternative solution; you can always ignore a ping from the NHS Covid app, he pointed out.
Scully was able to say this because, while an instruction to isolate from NHS test and trace is a legal requirement, a ping from the app is just advisory. This was not a distinction that was widely advertised when the app was launched, but ministers now seem keen to highlight it.
And by 10:30am from No10
Isolation remains the most important action people can take to stop the spread of the virus.
Given the risk of having and spreading the virus when people have been in contact with someone with Covid it is crucial people isolate when they are told to do so, either by NHS Test and Trace or by the NHS covid app.
Businesses should be supporting employees to isolate, they should not be encouraging them to break isolation.

Those who need social care are generally too far gone to care, it's the late 50s to early 60s children that are fretting about their inheritance being wasted on looking after mum that the Tories need to keep onside.

One days suspension from Parliament for trying to influence the judge in the Elphicke sexual assault trial.
Par for the course for these entitled cunts.
Fortunately the judge ignored it and banged the sex pest up for 2 years
Several Conservative MPs will be temporarily suspended from the Commons and told to apologise after being found to have tried to influence a judge presiding over the trial of a former colleague for sexual assault.
The one-day ban from parliament was handed down by the standards committee to backbenchers Sir Roger Gale, Theresa Villiers and Natalie Elphicke – the then partner of Charlie Elphicke, who was given two years in prison after being found guilty of three counts of sexual assault.
Two other Tory MPs – Adam Holloway and Bob Stewart – were ordered to make a statement apologising for their behaviour in the chamber, with all five found to have threatened to undermine public trust in the independence of the judicial system.

How many signatures does it take to force a recall ?

It might be worth trying for them in some cases; if nothing else to make some tories justify the looting of the exchequer by their chums
