Colin Farrell giving it the outstretched arm whinge.
Agreed, but the Lions played stupid rugby in the first half sending runner after runner into the meat grinder.TheNatalShark wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 5:50 pm I thought starting props made their presence in defense. Yes the scrums much more steady, although neither winning or losing more so little in that. I can imagine we were banking on Marx and Kitshoff having a big loose impact.
In the seconds they've gone to their gameplan and kicked over the midfield, taking our tight five out of the game completely.

Slot it and that's got to be that.
It has been very strange. But the kicking might still win this.
Biggest problem is the total lack of cohesion, the Lions have largely spent this game looking confused as to where they are and what they're meant to be doing, against an opposition that's barely played a game in years.
Going to the corner here would waste a lot more time.

Itoje played that on the floor, but well played Lions, they played smarter in the second half.

strip was good, but tackled players knee was on the ground. Consistent

Itoje has been God this game.
Think he was already in the process of ripping it. Bigger problem was him then playing it while flat on the floor!Insane_Homer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 5:59 pm strip was good, but tackled players knee was on the ground. Consistent

Yesa and no. They haven't caught much, but they've forced fair number of South African knock ons in the contest and been able to keep a lot of play in the Bok half.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 5:59 pm Like I said: has a Lion caught a ball? The ref has been fairly inconsistent on a few things. At least that is his gane done.Insane_Homer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 5:59 pm strip was good, but tackled players knee was on the ground. Consistent
Yeah the momentum swung after half time after a couple of great box kicks by Price.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 6:01 pmYesa and no.
