Defo worst Lions game ever. F**king dire.Openside wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:00 pm Total capitulation - possibly the worst game of rugby I have watched- credit to the Boks for imposing their game plan.

Lawes has proved that his second half last week was a complete aberration compared to his usual empty shirt performances when selected at 6 in Tests.
He has dropped 3 high balls and threw a possible overlap pass into touch. They are all playing shit but then again I think only Henshaw and Lawes have even close to pass marks.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 5:58 pmHard call on Watson. He was excellent last week and seen f**k all ball this.Big D wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 5:57 pm Good case to replace all the Lions back 3 next week.
Lions need something different off the bench like a Smith or Russell. Trying plan A but Plan A harder doesn't work.

Kolbe should have had red, Fluff a yellow, that second try was a knock on. Gatland is going to be raging.
Yeah? Still more metres than both his back row colleagues combined, and one fewer tackleHal Jordan wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:01 pm Lawes has proved that his second half last week was a complete aberration compared to his usual empty shirt performances when selected at 6 in Tests.
And took a bunch of lineouts too

Waterbooi got brainsBlake wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 5:58 pmIndeed, but for me the change wasn't Faf that went off, but De Jager coming on, Bok ruck starting to fire and Lions bleeding penalties.
When the Boks get momentum the 9 always looks good.

Erm. Being generous to Bin the Ruff, no just seen the replay. There’s nothing in that. Watson recovered that.
Think you're just trying to justify a dislike, to be honest. He's done better than most of the Lions pack.Hal Jordan wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:03 pmTallest dwarf.JM2K6 wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:02 pmYeah? Plus the fact the saffer got to it first and knocked it into Watson...ScarfaceClaw wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:04 pmErm. Being generous to Bin the Ruff, no just seen the replay. There’s nothing in that. Watson recovered that.
Not at all. He rarely plays the full 80. Whenever we did 6/2 split in the past, it was always Vermeulen and PSdT that stayed on the field.

Arse reaming in the scrums now.
Lawes is one of very few I'd give pass marks too.JM2K6 wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:04 pmThink you're just trying to justify a dislike, to be honest. He's done better than most of the Lions pack.Hal Jordan wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:03 pmTallest dwarf.JM2K6 wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:02 pm

I dont think a single Lions player has had a decent game.
Its been fucking terrible, Gatland completely got the tactics and selection wrong.
Sentiment has to go out of the window, AWJ has been poor, Mako poor (in the scrum) backrow anonymous and the back 3 fucking dire.
He has to roll the dice for 3rd test, shit or bust.

He's a magnificent lock, but never a Test 6 whilst he has a hole in his arse.

Yup, Sutherland got smashed a few times, and Sinckler copped one earlier.

Said last week that once he made that selection, the Lions would lose. The tactics just made it worse. No Plan BASMO wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:06 pm I dont think a single Lions player has had a decent game.

I'd be starting Price plus Russell or Smith. No point dying wondering.ASMO wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:06 pm I dont think a single Lions player has had a decent game.

Price is so much much faster than Murray. Why wasn’t he starting.

It does seem like because the lions were so successful with the high kicks in the last 20 minutes last week, they decided that is all they will do this week. They barely tried to run the ball today.

Shit from the Lions. Awful game plan, worse execution. Play some rugby next week
As much as I'd like to see that, that team would be sent out to die. I have seen nothing to suggest that Gatland has coached this tour party to do anything except kick chase.Big D wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 6:07 pmI'd be starting Price plus Russell or Smith.
