Jeez, AWJ looks worse for wear.

If they aren't going to compete in the line outs then Beard for AWJ needs to happen too. May as well have your best maul defender play.

Farrell kicks away advantage ball. Some things are reassuring, at least.

Utterly clueless by the Lions. Dire performance. They've played right into the Boks hands.

Yup. After a godawful first half from both sides, where it looked for a minute like SA discipline might genuinely fall apart in a huge way, only one side has tried to change things in the second half

Its been fucking terrible, Gatland completely got the tactics and selection wrong.

Sentiment has to go out of the window, AWJ has been poor, Mako poor (in the scrum) backrow anonymous and the back 3 fucking dire.

He has to roll the dice for 3rd test, shit or bust.
I'd be starting Price plus Russell or Smith. No point dying wondering.
As much as I'd like to see that, that team would be sent out to die. I have seen nothing to suggest that Gatland has coached this tour party to do anything except kick chase.
Just a different way to die.

If Ken Owens is in the squad next week I'll not be happy

When Daly is the answer then you’d have to wonder what the question was.

Well done Boks, limited game plan but you executed it perfectly.

Bin the Ruff wasn’t great. Some very poor decisions.

Lions back three have been useless in the air. No surprise there, unfortunately.

Boks win 27-9
2nd half squeeze too much for the visitors

Well done SA. After one of the worst halves of rugby I've ever had the misfortune to watch, that was some good shit in the second half.

Gatland's Lions looked clueless, static, inflexible, and scared of playing rugby.

I'm just glad the series is alive and we don't have a dead rubber next week.

Turgid stuff f all round. Don't think we've seen a genuine backs move from either side in two test matches.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

That was pretty humiliating for the Lions. They do know the purpose in rugby is to score tries, right?

That was pretty terrible from the Lions.

Played absolutely no rugby in that game. Congrats Saffas

What little rugby there was was played by SA in the 2nd half and on that alone, they deserved to win with the caveat that Kolbe should have been off the park.

Yeah well done South Africa. Totally outplayed the Lions second half. Selection will be interesting, but the way they play has to change

RWC final redux...at least we can share the misery this time.

Gatland has plenty of material for a Rassie-esc moanfest will be interesting to see if he does it.

Can't really say I'm happy, more relieved than anything.

I did not expect the Lions to implode the way they did in the last 30mins. Thought their superior conditioning would pull them through, but it looks like the damage was done in the first half. Slow poison.

Kolisi man of the match for me. He was immense. Lead from the front.

Only Bok that looked out of his depth for me was Wiese. Kolbe had a shocker also.

It's incredible to watch, it's like all the talent and flair has been coached out of them. I would imagine the back three, Murray, Biggar and all the forwards bar Lawes and Itoje must be in the firing line.

While I don't disagree with the red card, Kolbe was so shit out there tonight, him staying on might have actually helped you.

That's precisely what has happened and given Gatland's track record, you expected different?

Not even he would be dumb enough to start Farrell over Biggar though.

I wonder if Townsend knew that the only planned move would be up and unders when he agreed to be the attack coach. It's pathetic to watch and will do the game no good.
