Much to the annoyance of 3 or 400 nerds in the audience, had a stand-up barney with ol’ Benoit at Warwick Uni in the late 80s, as we had a fundamental disagreement about mathematics and a priori knowledge, which gave less time for the crowd to intellectually fellate him!

I went with a fellow student to a certain uni where he was to give a speech.
We rehearsed his speech in my car on the way there. I pointed out the verbal trap he might fall into.
So ingrained in his brain that day he celebrated a certain aluminus with the immortal "Sir Stifford Craps".
Stony silence, then massive laughter.
