The era of contrived hand gestures has been here for sometime, are everywhere..and it begs the question, if we allowed this what the fuck else have we allowed to get through. No wonder fucking fascism is in the orchestra pit etc.

So you definately have to go somewhere and learn this stuff, right. No idea where you have to go..communications college, nazi haircut school..but one thing is certain, if you make your own up you look like a cunt or like you have cerebral palsy.

This guy usually (not in this video) starts by spanking the baby, then straight into twitchy elbow, then the claw, with like this fucking claw downward gesture.. then he does like this wide open gesture with both hands, but watch his fingers..they are perfectly apart, the distance between them would look weird if he dId it another way....then spiralling (which is like doing a spiralling gesture) and he pulls all these out in certain words.

He probably has words in his script that trigger these gestures.
I just find it all so unnatural and threatening frankly.
It must feel something like what people thought when they saw Pagannini.
Having to deliberately perform these gestures is just so fucking disingenuous, as to be almost sickening.
Performing them so effortlessly like this, and not being bored as fuck (after hundreds of videos, doing the same thing)...well I just can't get me box around it.

Hand gestures don't trigger me to much. Except for air quotes. If I see people do air quotes or the thumb and pinky telephone/call me thing it makes me have murder fantasies.

Do I honestly have to explain my words for those low in comprehension skills, ok fuck it.
So do you remember when George Clooney did that thing with his head, think the technical term is "Bobbles"...well this is what we called "contrived".
It is unnatural, unusual thing that lots of people ended up doing...
Day to day people, guess what.. people before george didn't go around bobbling their heads.
You want to stand out in a crowd, you swing that fucking thing.

Take this 20 steps further, channel Nick Clegg and Tony Blair circa 2008..and add a little pizzazz (for pizzazz read "gawd its 2021 and we are still doing this disingenuous shit) and here we are.

So cataloging contrived hand gestures like female Power poses is a thing. People go to college for this. If you are not doing this, then you just fucked up you life as good as doing hard drugs.
They have a massive advantage over your autistic, non discript hand flapping.
People litterally are sat in classes right now, doing the downward hand clamp..the whimsical obliteration, the frankienspank?
We really do all need to learn this stuff..

Sorry - is this a 'people aren't speaking and moving like I think they should' thread?
