Sammy Arnold Try, 7 - 12, & Leinster giving too many penalties.

Super Leinster team try; forwards & backs punishing an average clearance kick, pulling Connacht left & right, & always gaining ground.

For once I agree with the commentators.
Leinster V Connacht is a match I could watch every week. Two teams that play an attractive brand of rugby.

Mack needs to work on his defense .... just got stepped by a hooker, never laid a glove on him, & off over the try line he scampered
Leinster are lethal in the Championship minutes

Ah now, he's a very talented hooker and that was a lovely step.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 8:35 pm 19 - 12

He's a scarily good hooker; if he get his darts right; he'll be starting hooker for 2023salanya wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 8:37 pmAh now, he's a very talented hooker and that was a lovely step.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 8:35 pm 19 - 12

I hate being right.
Leinster score off 1st phase off a line out.

Connacht could still get a BP, if they can score a 4th try.
3 mins to go.

With the ammo Leinster have elsewhere; it's almost irrelevant who's standing behind the scrum.
It might become a problem when you get to the QF stage in Europe; but until then, it's an armchair ride
Weird game. Bulls looked the much better side in the first half, but fell apart in the second.
Sharks still a long way from the finished product. Boeta looks way off the pace, and despite our magnificent scrum I think we still have a couple of passengers when it comes hitting rucks. Labuschagne and van Heerden look like big units, but need to significantly up their workload. Also some fitness issues, like Kolisi who looked exhausted and Nkosi who looked rusty.
But overall, something to build on. Mchunu put in a great shift, he'll be great backup to Ox. I like the Am Ward combo too. Pienaar was class, but I also think we need to get our young 9s onto the field to get some gametime.

I think they are just match rusty.assfly wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:18 am Weird game. Bulls looked the much better side in the first half, but fell apart in the second.

Kolisi, Bongi, Am & Ox match rusty?Sards wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 6:10 amI think they are just match rusty.assfly wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:18 am Weird game. Bulls looked the much better side in the first half, but fell apart in the second.

this is the problem with big name players. Only get pump up for tests. Going through the motions for club.Chilli wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 7:07 amKolisi, Bongi, Am & Ox match rusty?Sards wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 6:10 amI think they are just match rusty.assfly wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:18 am Weird game. Kolisi was invisible. Only saw him when the Bulls scored between his legs.
Bongi was very inaccurate. Nkosi looked on drugs. Am was on fire but he has lost a lot of pace. Maybe the reason for the move to 12. Pepsi was doing all the work at the back. Thomas was good. No real outstanding forward really. Except maybe Hyron.
Our backline is fantastic. Just need Fassi. He has been cleared of Covid, just needs to wait to play. Not sure on timeframe

Can't judge Sharks according to WP work ethics. They will be called on it and improve at the Sharks.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 7:53 amthis is the problem with big name players. Only get pump up for tests. Going through the motions for club.
Match rusty is normally the first game of the season. Or after a break. Talking team.
Maybe the band of mercenaries don't understand the team culture?Sards wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 8:41 amCan't judge Sharks according to WP work ethics.
