Just woken up to watch this. Missed the first 5 rounds but it looks like an old school classic. Fury is an absolute brute.

Best HW fight I've seen in years. Kudos to Wilder for lasting so long.

All three men in the ring earned their paycheck tonight.

First fight I've watched live in years - brilliant from both fighters. Great showcase for the sport, genuinely fantastic. Good old fashioned boxing maybe? Sorry for my ignorance in advance.

No ignorance mate. You have it absolutely correct. It was a belter. Fury is an amazing boxer but having that extra 40 pounds even if its around his middle just makes him tougher to beat.

Yes, WU is spot on, one of the best matches I've watched, not just boxing but in any sport. The momentum seemed to swing from one fighter to the other in a heartbeat.

Got to give massive respect to Wilder, he showed tremendous guts & Fury is cut from different cloth. They are inseparable now, both mens careers are going to be defined by this trilogy.

I saw a reference to Fury being annoyed after the fight that when he tried to speak to Wilder he was blanked, what’s that about?

Wilder refused to shake his hand. But in all fairness Wilder was out of it. He'd taken a huge beating and Fury made more out of it than needed. Fury was a bit of a cock about it imo and just used it as a point to riff off of in his grandstanding. All showbiz though and character like Tyson are great for boxing.

Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant coming up in an hour or two.

Second fight of the undercard on now.

The main event's close to getting underway.

I like Plant, but can't really see him troubling Canelo today.

Canelo wins by knock out, but kudos to Plant for taking it as far as the 11th round.

Much better fight than I was expecting.

I thought Plant boxed well. He was evasive and certainly won a couple of those early rounds.

Canelo is just relentless and he eventually overwhelmed him. You just can't prevail over someone who is applying that kind of pressure over 12 rounds.

Parker Vs Chisora 2 about to kick off.

I hope Chisora gets his arse kicked solely for picking Sweet Caroline as his entrance music.

Edit - I tell a lie - that was the music he picked as the entree for his ring walk which is Hotel California. Forgiveness points = 5

Hope to see a big improvement from Parker now that he's no longer saddled with Kevin Barry.

Commentators thought Parker was going to end it there but Chisora ended round 3 the stronger of the 2

Chisora is unlikely to win this, but the fact he's still there is remarkable

I feel if he can keep away from the uppercuts and work on Parker's body, he could turn it around, but at the moment it's all one way

I have no idea how Chisora got to the end of that, Parker has to win unanimously.

However, I'm getting a bit queasy about watching boxing, after being a fan for forty five years or more, as the coms said, this bout will stay with these guys for years to come, and not for the good.

Kudos to Chisora for hanging on.

That was the best Parker's boxed in a long time.

Enjoyed that.
