The likes of Dozy, Mick, Bimbo, Rocketz etc. do make some threads unreadable but given the vast majority of Irish fans stayed there means that unless there's a mass transfer to here there will still be more traffic and posts around Irish rugby on PR.

I bit the bullet, and as very ingeniously pointed out in one of the posts above, deleted my login using the aaa@bbb.com method. PR is poisonous. I humorously suggested (knowing full well that I'd garner the expected rabid response from the bored loons) that I'd tested positive for Covid whilst travelling on a train, having opened a pack of Quavers and lowered my face mask ... I know, foolish me . Anyhows, I'm shot of that place.

Not entirely sure, but when I changed my email address to the fictitious one, I'm sure the PR site said it'd email my changed address with a confirmation, and that if I didn't respond, it'd close the account ... something along those lines

I stay clear of those threads overrun by the hard core weirdos because there is not enough time in my life to engage with them and there is nothing I can say that will change their intense stupidity.

Agreed. His situation is incredible. Usually 100 posts a day over numerous different threads. It's not just quick, witty replies either, which you got from the likes of Jerpy. He is clearly taking time to research his posts, link articles etc. When you think of the time it must take to read all the threads, formulate and type the replies, it is impossible to understand how he can be living any sort of productive life away from the bored.

There's usually a fair amount of quick, tedious replies, but still, it's relentless.

One of the perils of the internet communication though is that you end up engaging with people that you might choose to avoid in a regular, daily life interaction. There's a certain amount of people that have Asperger's, for example, where you have to judge things differently.
