Wish it would head up here, my boy is desperate to see a thunderstorm but every time we get forecast one it doesn't arrive!

We rarely get them here, this is the 6th this year! Had a fantastic night one recently, all the Gower lit up nicely...

Sat in the living room drinking Cremant de Loire with the electric fan going, watching Bettany Hughes' enormous boobs tell us about ancient Greece.

Currently 29 degrees (at 10.45pm) and 62% humidity
Forecast is teasing 50% chance of thunder lightning at 5am. Tomorrow is going to be another today though.
I would kill for 19 degrees at the moment - right now I'm not quite sure how I might actually sleep tonight
The local forecast is teasing rain and thunder at around 10% tomorrow, but Wednesday looks a near certainty. But I don't recall any UK forecast ever showing rain and 23 degrees before.

Amazing storm happening somewhere off to the south of me at the moment (Southport). Non stop lightning.
Otherwise a comfortable 19 degrees here

I was in the Hunter Valley yesterday - a balmy 11C during the day and 4C at night
Felt right at home

I drink and I forget things.
Bit of haze early this morning has burnt off and endless blue skies with the sun screaming down. Gorgeous for sitting around doing nothing. I'll be enjoying the AC in work. Blinds all down and windows cracked at home, we'l see this evening how effective that was.

In spite of no room being below 26 °C overnight, slept very well though.
Rain this morning, didn't help. No breeze at all outside so air just not circulating in the night and first thing and now heating very quickly with the moisture from the rain making it even more humid.

Fog!
32, I think. You're supposed to put thermometers in the shade to prevent exactly that, but this has been sitting in uninterrupted sunshine since like 8am.
Dropped to "only" 33 now that the sun has gone around the house.
Just shows strong sunlight is. I was a sweaty mess after a gentle 25 minute walk home from work.
Thunderstorm warning for tonight. Christ, I hope it happens.

Temperature scarcely dropping here, still nearly 35 °C. There were some promising looking thunderstorms over western France but don't seem to be heading our way.
By opening specific windows and creating flow I got the bedroom down to 19deg last night shut bedroom window but kept spare open. Woke up a 4am it was back to 24 because of us and the retained heat from the day. Tonight is going to be worse as it's forecast to be 5deg hotter a bedtime tonight compared to last night.
