Jake`s second sentence on PR doesn`t quite read right to me. It is possible to find an ex players name in the initial part of the sentence but the career of the person potentially named is a bit out of synch with the other information given so could just be a coincidence.

I imagine suppression provides the victim some anonymity, esp in cases where dickhead fans find out and target the poor person. Rape/sexual assault allegations are a tricky one for both the accuser who should be protected and made to feel safe and supported, and the accused who deserves a fair investigation and trial.

There is an argument that by naming the accused party may encourage more victims to come forward but on the flip side, someone falsely or even worse maliciously accused of rape/sexual assault can have their life ruined by this type of accusation.
