Seriously, it's like this every game for Racing. They are offing Thomas and Baubigny to stay within the cap. Should have dumped Russell. Gibert is a perfectly good option for Racing who plays the situation and game in front of him rather than random, slapstick stuff.

Excellent start to the 2nd half by Connacht, YC for Tigers, & immediately get the try

If Leicester sorted out their discipline they'd be a lot closer

Ref frames question in way try can't be given but there's no way that was not grounded.

Commentary team on Connacht vs tigers trying very hard to pretend that tigers haven't rested both 1st choice half backs it really isn't that surprising that tigers have lacked control as the step down is significant.

They’ve also cocked up so many opportunities, but a good chance they’ll take this one now I think

Yeah, they've spannered up so many chances. Van poortvliet has added some tempo to Tigers play.

Just watching the Wasps game now. 20 minutes in, a Toulouse player kicks the ball back across the dead ball line whilst lying on the floor. The ref says it's all part of the motion, but the replay clearly shows he falls to the ground when trying to get it in his arms, and whilst on the ground, then lashes out with a foot. That's a penalty try and yellow card surely.

Sh*te reffing. Clear pen to Connacht at the ruck before the try.

Hell of a try. Hell of a game. No idea why the crowd are booing and this carry on from the players is so poor, it was clearly a try.

Connacht tried to kill the game from 60 mins and let Leicester run at them, probably the inevitable outcome

Come on Torq, they clearly thought it was in touch, nothing to do with a marginal breakdown call. The crowd were jubilant because they thought he was in touch even though the foot was about 8 inches off the ground at the point of the replay they started cheering

Yeah. Looks that way too and very poor behaviour by the players regardless.

Don't think the call was marginal. It was poor. But the breakdown is becoming a lottery again in every game. Surprised Connacht simply didn't give away the pen and risk the lineout.

A player asked about it, and the ref said he thought it was OK. Considering the ball went dead, and it's a potential penalty try, I'd have thought it was worth a second look. The replay in my mind is pretty conclusive.

Yes, that's how it looked to me. Also there was a charge-down by a Wasps player in Toulouse's right hand corner that looked like a goalkeeper's save to me. Maybe my eyes deceived me.

it doesn't even matter if the ref's decision is right. Once they've made it players have no place going at them like that, particularly after the final whistle.

What's the intended outcome there? Ref suddenly goes 'Oh you know what, actually I was mistaken and I'm now going to overturn the result'?

Just on the red card now. First contact is technically on the ball, but I can't really argue the red card to honest. Balls. I don't see that being overturned. That's going to be a 5-6 week ban for Umaga.

Back to the Toulouse game and specifically Jelonch
- Basically he contributed f**k all, never getting his team on the front foot and nothing with ball in hand and it's been like that in games recently
- He was very lucky not to be red carded for his stupidity

Really needs to be jettisoned from the French squad on current form.

Players, particularly senior ones, have been allowed to carry on with the refs for a few seasons now. This is the inevitable end result and the refs have woken up to it too late
