It'd be interesting to know how many of us were out there.

1. Why we lurked and never posted? - Myself I had a massive man sulk after the French beat us in the 2007 QF and didn't watch Rugby for years, by the time I got over that I couldn't be bothered posting anymore.

2. Do we miss PR? - To be honest I do, from the days of QP onwards it was often very very funny, I was engrossed in Ukraine thread and was annoyed at the timing of the lockdowns. The needed bannings of the Mick Manocks and Dozy's was improving things.

3. What can PR hope to achieve by locking down? I have no idea, the slow death of the PR Forum?


Anyway, I tried to register at PR 2 days ago and have heard nothing, obviously they don't care.

Yes, I will look out for you. On day 1 we had so many registration attempts, and so many from Russia that I gave up and cleared the lot. I have since done about 50 approvals from lurkers but I am on top of it if you want to try again.

It's not that hard when they register with a .Ru address or a Yandex.com one. Some of the bastards use gmail and yahoo and very English names though but they either leave their IP address or use a proxy that has warnings all over it. I reckon I get 99% of the bastards but I do worry that a few good men are collateral damage.
