Did they change the kick off time? I had this on my radar for this evening and am now out enjoying a coffee and contemplating cake.

Yeah, brought forward so the Hurricanes can get in and out with less interaction.Fat Old Git wrote: Sat Aug 15, 2020 3:44 am Did they change the kick off time? I had this on my radar for this evening and am now out enjoying a coffee and contemplating cake.
I know they have a tough job, but not this one. I hate this ref with a passion.
The Canes need to calm the fuck down. They have this in the bag if they show a bit of patience, stop the 50/50s and commit a few more forwards to the breakdown.

I don't disagree. It doesn't change the fact that this ref is useless.Jb1981 wrote: Sat Aug 15, 2020 4:06 am The Hurricanes have cost themselves two tries. If they lose this it is likely to be that and not the referee who is to blame. They should have been out of sight of the Highlanders at halftime.

That was a decent win.
Well done Highlanders. Fully deserved win.
The Canes had the cattle and ability to take that comfortably, but lacked patience and smarts. We missed TJ big time. A disappointing finish from the Canes, but the Highlanders must be pleased by their luck in the first and superior play in the 2nd. Good on you.
All the same, fuck you ref. You are the most useless waste of officiating space eva.

Still have an entire All Black laden NPC to run. Supposed to start a couple weekends into September. A North/South All Black trial match too.
Probably the best local Rugby season since 1996.
I'm not really familiar with your competitions. What is/was the Mitre 10 Cup and how does the Ranfurly Shield fit in?stunt_cunt wrote: Sat Aug 15, 2020 7:06 amAmethyst wrote: Sat Aug 15, 2020 7:00 am What are your players doing for the rest of the year, Mitre Cup/Ranfurly?

Mitre 10 is the rebranded npc.Amethyst wrote: Sat Aug 15, 2020 8:07 amI'm not really familiar with your competitions. Ranfurly shield is one of the oldest trophies in the country. Played between provinces, whoever holds it has to defend it every home game against visiting province.
Previously challenges could be issued on the road as well, pretty epic when small unions tip up the likes of auckland and Canterbury
Cheers. So, does the Ranfurly Shield "expand" over more than one competition or applicable for the NPC only?Monkey Magic wrote: Sat Aug 15, 2020 8:14 amMitre 10 is the rebranded npc.Amethyst wrote: Sat Aug 15, 2020 8:07 amI'm not really familiar with your competitions. Just watching the match now. 30 mins in anda few pbservations;
- The Canes have a Rolls Royce backline. Even with all their injuries they have so much backline firepower.
- Marino Mika'ele-Tu'u is a machine. He makes Savea look like an openside trying to play no.8. MMT needs to be in the AB's
- Jackson garden-Bachop is close to the most improved player in the comp
- Jordie Barrett is a better '2nd play-maker' than either McKenzie or BB
