Bit early for drinking isn't it? Ah what the hell, you make an excellent case for the delusional - reality sucks.bessantj wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 10:57 am Dean Ryan jizzing himself over playing in the Champions Cup next season
Lads, I can't believe the Dragons are going to win the Champions Cup next season!!!!"Champions Cup is on the one hand really daunting but on the other really exciting," said Ryan.
"Every person who works in sport wants to be involved at the top and our players aren't any different.
"It doesn't mean our resources won't be challenged or that the match-ups won't be interesting, but we can't help but get excited.

What do the Irish think of the geezer? They'll give you an honest appraisal
rewatching the gutwretching 2011 semi-final and there isn't enough emphasis on the fact that Hook missed two absolute sitters for us, and would have awarded us the game.
the fetishised fan-fiction of us turning over the all blacks in the final is an absurd fantasy, to this day we still haven't beaten them in around sixty years, i don't know why we would have done it on that day considering australia pumped us twice proceeding that clash with France. (especially with the absence of breadman and bomb)

9-3..
A swarm sounds very energetic, I don't think that's really our style...can we not be some other word from the natural world? Obviously you have your pride (lions), school or pod (whales - might make sense of a sort), an unkindness (ravens), a parliament (owls), a pandemonium (parrots), a sloth (bears), an obstinacy (buffalo)...I rather like the fact that lemurs are a conspiracy.
What's a group of sloths called? That should be us.penguin wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:23 amA swarm sounds very energetic, I don't think that's really our style...can we not be some other word from the natural world? It would have been nice to have made the final though.Catapult wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 10:07 pm rewatching the gutwretching 2011 semi-final and there isn't enough emphasis on the fact that Hook missed two absolute sitters for us, and would have awarded us the game.

Gordon Ross is the new backs coach at the Dragons....one of those ones where you have to separate your memories of him as a player from what he might bring as a coach. I remember him as a kick heavy 10, at a time when Scottish back play (especially the 10-12) axis was about as lacking in creativity as it is possible to see at international level. Good luck to him, let's hope he can get our increasingly strong looking back division going.

The standard collective nouns for dragons are: a flight of dragons; a weyr of dragons; a school of dragons; a thunder of dragons; or a wing of dragons.
I'd rather use a Welsh word.
I need to google the collective noun of a bunch of half-arsed middle aged blokesLandOTurk wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 12:27 pmOn google, so could be bollox.New guy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:29 amWhat's a group of sloths called? That should be us.penguin wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:23 am

The Swerve sounds great unlike the emojis.
Pardon my interruption. As in Merv?
