Nyakane has been quiet and PSdT has not looked flash in his first match in forever. He is looking just as rusty as Elton looked last week.
Nienaber really needs to stop this kak of playing Boks coming back from long term injuries in Tests. It's setting them up for failure.

The usual sort of reply is that the national team is sometimes competitive precisely because the regions are crap. Doesn’t explain Ireland’s relative success though.

Card should be for Adams screaming at the ref and gesturing for a TMO review (when, as a pro player, he should know full well that technical ruck offences like that aren't within the TMO purview).

I think the call came from Andrea Piardi.
In real time I can see why he thought it was AWJ's hand that scooped the ball out, but still unforgivable mistake at this level.
