He appears to be in an offside position, but that doesn’t matter as long as he doesn’t attempt to play the ball until he has been put onside.

Boet honestly, South Africa is no different then any other country. It's only our usual Homer ref whinger here but fuck me it's so depressing critizing the ref after a loss. It's only human to make mistakes.SaintK wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 10:05 am Whinge, whinge, whine, whine!!!https://www.rugbypass.com/news/boks- ... -of-loss/Despite what many neutrals saw as an exceptional refereeing performance – Springboks fans and even a former player have gone after Luke Pearce in the wake of their shock defeat to the All Blacks in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Fair enough. What if Pollard's kick hits Marx before going into touch?

Dweba the disappointment: Last minute inclusion but since when do we start a rooky against the AB's when we have a more than capable monster available? Fat Frans, Marx, Kitshoff must start.
Thormeulen is loadshedding: You cant carry a legend for his leadership when the other loosies are non-existent.
Kolisi the zero sum of hero: You cant use Vermeulen only for his strengths if he's laying face down in the dirt at every ruck.
Klein Piet spiere: I would rather have had Mostert on 7 than PSdT. If you start Vermeulen then at least give him one hard worker to work with.
What 9? We have none after Faf the fluff
Polly Sure: Go for posts when you get a penalty.
Centre of no: Die Ellende and Am is the best of the bunch. They're so good they don't need replacements, they replace. Next game Die Ellende will play 7.
Broken wings: We're duct taping Boeing wings on to a jet fighter.
Wilde Willie: Mr dependable, Mr undropable, I backed him all those years when everyone said he was shyt, just so we're clear.

As most people, accepting SA rugby forums, believed the match was exciting and the ref was was very good then this needs to be countered swiftly.

I would rather have Trevor on the bench for his versatility than a one dimensional Ox.
The hot stepper Is good at the back and also versatile.
Thank god we never picked anyone Mark Keo lite backed. Imagine Zeilinga and Boch as Boks.

Sorry, must confess I was pissed as a chook while posting and mostly just having a laugh. Yep, he was certainly consistent and contributed to a good game. I'd have been happier if he'd succeeded in his efforts to stop the Boks delaying their lineout set-ups/rest breaks, but they seem to be a law unto themselves in that aspect of the game. The regulated water breaks are an improvement, but there still needs to be a more forceful crackdown on that time wasting shit, imho.

Agree on that. Teams are given the water breaks… aside from that there’s a requirement to form up for play and not waste time.
It’ll be hilarious to watch if that is cracked down on come the RWC and the Boks aren’t fit enough to manage.

Remember the good old days of having wings we were proud of. Here we have 1 specialist wing and 3 fullbacks.

It's not going to matter against Australia. We currently have 17 players injured and we had minimal depth to begin with.
Two crushing victories to the Boks coming up.......

Springboks have a mental block against the Wallabies in Australia.
Ja we really do. Like Blake mentioned last week, they always have a way of beating us, even if we arrive there in good form.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 6:39 am Springboks have a mental block against the Wallabies in Australia.

Quelle surprise Mark, now go wipe that white stuff of your nostrils.
For a man who works with steel you are quite soft. Frans is the first player selected, that's just a fact.
