Motor racing of any kind. Can pretty much watch and tolerate any other sport, but I'd rather gouge my eye balls out with a rusty spoon than watching 5 minutes of motor racing.
Horse racing.
Can you imagine. Usain Bolt wins the Beijing 100 and 200. So in future races he has to carry extra weight to slow him down and let all the others beat him. Don’t even think about the horrendous insurance scams carried out when horses aren’t winners. Pathetic excuse of a sport designed purely for betting.

Baseball is an excellent call.
Very contrived sport.

What if Scott Mac is battling it out versus seventeen of the Richards family to take out the Supercars championship? Cunt?Carter's Choice wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2020 4:26 am Motor racing of any kind. Fuuuuuuuck off. It's great.
GAA. Ban it. It is an abomination.
You just need an appreciation for the personalties playing the game and an understanding of the rules. Most sports are accessible.
I used to watch a fair bit of NBA in the 90s. I knew so many of the players, many greats and watching them up against each other was superb. Then I drifted away, lost track of new players and it didn't hold my attention anywhere near the same. Now I know a fair few of the current crop and enjoyment levels have returned.
I haven't clicked with baseball, but I love cricket. I imagine there are similarities, time between pitches/deliveries, length of game, ease of decription of majority of plays over radio. I love the fact you can drift in and out of cricket as you go about your day. To me there's not much better sport wise than doing chores in and around the house while test cricket plays on the radio.

For me I think it is sports I don’t understand properly. Baseball was boring until I got to know the players fairly well, and like cricket, the strategy of pitchers against batters.
Swimming is top of the sports I don’t get, possibly because I was a really poor swimmer.

Surely that should mean you get it more? You swim, or you die.Fangle wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2020 10:14 pm For me I think it is sports I don’t understand properly. Baseball was boring until I got to know the players fairly well, and like cricket, the strategy of pitchers against batters.
