The Committee Chair was looking for the records in order to monitor that the Presidents tax returns were subject to be a mandatory audit annually, as previous Presidents have been, since 1970. As we found out today; they weren't, because the shitball put flunkies in charge of the IRS.

Lets also remember that the lying shitball promised to release this information as Presidents have since the 60s, but lied & obstructed every step of the way to deny the House access to data that the IRS was legally obliged to supply, if demanded.

They think you need to rip everything apart and rebuild it. If it rebuilds itself the same way, then that’s fine, it just says it was right and efficient.
