May as well get greened, cheers ASMO.
Really do hope all this new blood is genuine, that was the problem with PR, not many new posters.

Are you still laughing iarmhi?
I think we can all agree it took a woman to take the lead and set the trend.
Over the hills and far away........
The anthem is in the voice of William of Orange-Nassau, at the start of the 80 years independence war against Spain - written in the 1570s and the oldest anthem in the world.iarmhí wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 10:31 pmYou were spot on Sal.
Sal the Dutch national anthem:
What is the story with the last line? Beyond bizarre. Admiring the King of Spain???
As a nobleman and the Stadholder he would have paid homage to the Spanish king (in the anthem he says he's honouring him, he's not admiring him!), but he would also be the main leader of the Dutch revolt. The Spanish had him declared an outlaw and he was assassinated, but he's been the Father of the nation ever since.
Why were you listening to the Dutch national anthem?
Over the hills and far away........
As I have said on another feed

And even the ranks of Tuscany could scarce forbear to cheer.
Could I have a little of that green tinge that's going around pretty please?

Thanks ASMO.
What's the 'apply to the Group' malarkey? I'm in the Groucho Marx camp when it comes to Groups/Clubs so I am. What's in it for me? Are the dues tax-deductible? If it involves sweat-equity ye can fock off, I'm not eighteen or a Trinity grad.
