Hi all. I've been perma-banned by Jake for having the timerity to speak a truth that didn't suit. Would like to have posted this on PR as my last post so if anyone else (it will get deleted and you will get banned too if you do post it there) would like to share

**THE LAST POSTS**
Some of you will be confused over whether this board is going, coming or the, well, 9th coming.

This is down to classic Jake and provides you with every reason for not hanging around here. When OS resigned as a mod, he accurately accused Jake of running the place as his personal fiefdom. It’s quite clear that his pathological desire to be the centre of attention saw him execute his usual trail of truths, half-truths and lies as he attempted to engineer another the “Lord Jake taketh away”, followed by “the magnanimous Lord Jake giveth” dramas.

Unfortunately for Jake, the F365 boys stepped in but, luckily for him, that site was compromised enough that the flock was never crossing that divide. What really torpedoed his planned look-at-me-resurrection was ASMO setting up a board that
1. Was fully functional
2. Only rugby (unlike the F365 site)
3. Free of PR’s annoying adverts
4. Free of PR
5. Free of Jake's picking lackey mods
6. And, worst of all for Jake, free of Jake

Do you need any more reasons to jump? The alternative is Jake gets to brag to anyone who listens “I run the largest rugby forum in the world with n worshippers”. You wanna be worshipper n+1?

In case you are in any doubt about the man’s megalomania and need for power, back in the early 2000s I was rumoured to have hacked QP’s mail account in order to get him off the board. When I next met Jake (yes, we were friends. But like all friends from back then, he disaffected me too. Although I stuck by him longer than most), he asked me to break into his (then) partner’s email account in order that he could do whatever. This the type of personality you want running a board?

More? Okay. He used his board access privileges to have a guy fired from his job. I had no sympathy for the homophobic victim c**t in that case, but the point is Jake is just as liable, in another of his drug and/or alcoholic fuelled rages, to resort to such abuses at the slightest perceived slight.

I have full confidence that all the mods/admins here are here for the right reasons, wanting a fresh start without some on the ermmm encumbrances they faced of PR, if they choose to remain MODs over there, i have no issue with that, i dont see it as a conflict of interests, every decision here is discussed fully between us all in private and agreement reached, if there is deadlock, then i have the casting vote :-). I do think many of them stayed MODs there to try to limit the damage being done by certain people.

IIRC, you can still see posts but most functionality will be dead e.g. searches. If the foretold wipe happens, it's academic.
