I expect them to do better than expected at the RWC.

You can stream direct from the world rugby site too. I would assumed there's no geo-blocking on it.

What a finish from the hooker! He had a way to run after that break from Cleaves.

England definitely coming back into the contest a bit more now. Power of the Saffa maul is definitely a worry,

I suspect there'll be a bit of a late blow out as against France.

England need to do something about the SA maul in the second half

Sam Harris continues to infuriate me, he's like Shane Geraghty's more flightly newphew. England 9 and 2 are having a bit of a shocker from what I've seen. Just too many errors under pressure.

Bracken on now at 9 which should help.

edit: hah, Harris hooked after a shocking decision and waste of an overlap.

Was just going to say something similar. SA commentators far too kind on him.

Watched him this season and last and whilst he looks like he could be a decent player, he's permanently on the verge of a loose/costly error. He'd be terrifying if he played for your team.

I'm pretty sure he's played for my team under several guises... Ben Botica, Ollie Lindsay-Hague, etc

Saffers do look the team more likely to make a good decision with the ball and have an excellent and committed defence. We've missed a fair few easy-ish tackles. Pretty ferocious stuff in general though, neither side are weaklings.

Slevin as a 10 reverting to the player I worried so much about in the Premiership Cup. He does not look comfortable in the thick of things. Still think he's a better back 3 player.

As an aside, the bits I've heard of Chessum talking to the ref have been excellent. Managed him very well - better than a lot of senior team captains.

SA maul and breakdown has been too good, but boy we've been inaccurate. Multiple lost 5m lineouts, 3(?) times we've missed touch from pens etc.

Their breakdown is excellent but I honestly think we've done a really good job of countering them too. The accuracy there is generally fantastic - that part of the game is a high quality contest, even if the rest isn't.

Aside some serious brute force up front (which tends to dissipate as an adv at full on senior), this Eng side has failed to impress me this comp outside of Cleaves who looks like he'll go the whole way.

In the NZ v Georgia match.....NZ leading 33 - 14 after being 33 - 0 up after about 25 minutes.

And then as they have done all tournament - gone completely off the boil and let Georgia come back into the game. I worry for NZ rugby.

Much like the Saffer commentators, I'm really impressed with the South African 10. He's got a great boot, makes good decisions, but what really stands out is his coolness and calm attitude. He plays like someone much older than his 27 years.

I think it's fair to say most of us would have taken 3rd/4th given the mauling we took in the U20s 6N.

Might just be a blip with this generation but they absolutely lack grunt which is something I think we all underplayed as an adv NZ had when they dominated this level. What has been surprising is the quite poor skill sets which is something you'd never associate with NZ.

And it's not like that was an aberration either - we've been pretty bad for a while.

Would be silly to suggest that the improvement is all Mapletoft's doing, but he had a spectacular role with the U20s last time round and it does seem like coaching has been a big issue for a while for us. Pretty hopeful for the future having managed to get a tune out of this lot.

Oof. Slevin.

Man, we are really bad when we make a break. Can't hold on to the ball, can't find a support runner, rarely make the right decision.

Noticing it more and more. Really poor handling skills across the board.

This side has just been so hot and cold - it is difficult to watch. A couple of likely AB players for the future. But nothing to get excited about.

Ehh hands on the floor then takes then 9 out - c'mon ref.

However Slevin should've swapped with Johnson when Johnson came on. He's having a shocker this half, just shipping it on and doesn't have a flyhalf's decision making.

Yup, though in general he's letting anything go when the player goes for the ball. Doesn't matter if they're anywhere near the ball the first time the hands go down. That one was pretty much picture perfect though, incredible steal despite a really good attempted cleanout.

Would like to see a back actually supporting a break, mind

1 min to go and with an overlap outside him and Wills kicks. Badly.

Well, that's an interesting call given the rucks we've had in the last 5 minutes.
