Jesus, this game is terrible. 20 minutes of thud and blunder.

And fucking scrum resets.

Pools C & D looking even bigger jokes on the evidence of the last few weeks. Eng, Arg, Aus and Wal will all be in the 1/4 finals. :problem:

While I want England to show a bit more attacking flair, wild offloads to no one that take us back 15m aren't quite what was in mind.

Atmosphere sounds like a covid period match.

Trying to take the positives from and England perspective;

Ludlum is having a decent game.

Porter and joe cock have already played themselves out the squad.

Hoping the fact the ref is keeping the pace up is an indicator of the way the reffing will go at the WC. He’s really trying to keep the pace up.

The modern pro forward takes the absolute piss getting ready before the set-piece. Annoys the fuck out of me - they just stand there doing fuck all and have to be cajoled into the game.

This is a humiliatingly poor game of rugby

Im sure as experienced rugby men we've all watched our fair share of shite rugby games.

That first half is right up there imo.

Just awful.

Smith and Marchant are probably the only 2 players that look semi competent ball in hand.

The Welsh 6 is absolute pish.

"One for the purists"

"Absorbing"

And other euphemisms for shit.

The sad thing is that England are trying to play a bit and discovering that the basic skills aren't there to execute.
