Betcha Rennie never thought of this.
The Official, one and only, Men's IRB Rugby World Cup 2023 thread
As a Glasgow guy, rennie was good at everything but building fit he future (bit divisive too I suppose). This feels like Jones laying lack of forward thinking at his door, while being confident this RWC won’t be a disaster.

I am willing to bet pints that this will not happen.Slick wrote: Sat Aug 12, 2023 10:23 am Rumours starting to swirl that WR are threatening to double Sextons ban due to shenanigans in Portugal
I drink and I forget things.
Not a chance, even if it is true.
Just like Farrell is not going to miss much/any of the RWC

Love it. Watched the last few instalments. Hilarious when Gits was drunk..Cartman wrote: Sun Aug 13, 2023 5:42 pm Anybody catch the GBR Aus podcast yet?
With Gits, Two Dads and Drew
I think its bloody great
Much better, and in particular entertaining, than the UK version

Also the one in the restaurant with Dan Carter was fun too.
I agree.. way better than the English version... Drew and Gits in particular are funny.

Sad news, world cup dream over. Hopefully we don't see any more of these.

Jesus, cruel luck.
Rumour heard here recently to the effect that Eddie J could be headed back to Japan as head coach after WC.
Okay, I know it is just the Daily Mail but for what it's worth

I don't think he gives two rats' arses about how the media treat him. He has got more than enough "fuck you" money in the bank.Sandstorm wrote: Thu Aug 17, 2023 10:08 am Not really endearing himself (even further) with Aussie media, is he? If they continue to lose, the Press with crucify his short arse!
True. Only way to sort him out would be to sack him if Aussies lose their first two games and replace him with Clive Woodward.Kiwias wrote: Thu Aug 17, 2023 10:35 amI don't think he gives two rats' arses about how the media treat him. It must be the most toxic environment to be working under him, players and staff. I can't imagine otherwise.
Really tired of how often we see people excuse Eddie's behaviour as some sort of tactic to deflect attention away from the team. The simpler answer is that he's an absolute prick who treats people like shit, especially if they challenge him in any way.
Yeah, this.JM2K6 wrote: Thu Aug 17, 2023 11:12 am Really tired of how often we see people excuse Eddie's behaviour as some sort of tactic to deflect attention away from the team.
