Barrett gets no suspension
I’m livid if ER is too.
You won't hear me bleating.
Damn - there's not enough time for Dumb Barrett to grow a brain.
I drink and I forget things.
If Aus can score three tries against them... thats five in Jordan money
Plus you'll get your kicks
Plus they too fat for 80 mins
Its in the bag man
Nah, Mo'unga got just 2 shots at goal against you guys, iirc. Both easy kicks, but he missed one (off the upright).
And we can't kick goals if we can't get out of our own feckin' 22.

The All Blacks will take this one. They'll do it for Fozzie.

these are the Last Games of Ian Foster. Win, lose or draw, just end it. Fuggen.

As per the post on the SA fred, this result is largely irrelevant. It's probably Ire or SA in the 1/4s and I don't think either Fra or NZ has a preference of whom to avoid. Therefore, it's simply a matter of ensuring not losing to Italy to secure a 1/4 slot.Grandpa wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 9:31 pmIf they get thrashed by France, they may as well go home... so if not win, they must run them close...
That's true... but after the SA shambles, another thrashing would be detrimental... so even though the game doesn't matter in terms of where it leads to... performance matters I think...Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:17 amAs per the post on the SA fred, this result is largely irrelevant. The ABs cleaned the Boks up in pool play last time around and they went on and won it.
It’s just one game and the tournament hasn’t even started yet.
Chill, Winston.

I can't see that happening. Even if Fra did pull out to a winning lead, everyone key would be subbed and the game shutdown. Yeah, that might still be seen as a thrashing but it won't happen on the scoreboard. I'm not Galthie or Foz, but I would be focusing on beating Ita and worrying about the 1/4 to the exclusion of everything else. As a result, I am completely relaxed about the opening game result. Sure, I don't want Fra to lose but I am far more concerned about injuries and the form of some players.Grandpa wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:27 amThat's true... but after the SA shambles, another thrashing would be detrimental... so even though the game doesn't matter in terms of where it leads to... performance matters I think...Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:17 amAs per the post on the SA fred, this result is largely irrelevant. True... gotta feel for Italy... they're not gonna catch NZ or France cold...Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:43 amI can't see that happening. They've been shafted along with Scotland. At the moment, Argentina must be laughing their socks off with the draw they've been handed. England would be too if they weren't so terrible.Grandpa wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:53 amTrue... gotta feel for Italy... they're not gonna catch NZ or France cold...Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:43 amI can't see that happening. More than that I thought? I gave up with trying for tickets for the entire comp. It was a bigger farce than 2007. I was at JB and SdeF over the weekend and none of the rugby people I know or met had managed to get any tickets for France games, let alone that one. Shows what a sh*tshow the FFR made of it if SaintK as a supporter of neither side was able to get tickets ahead of us.Marylandolorian wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 12:30 pmYou were able to get ticks for this game? Around 500k ppl tried.

Not cheap but guaranteed tickets and hotel room and no fucking about in a queue on RWC website
Got Australia v Georgia the following day.
Booked a nice looking restaurant on Thursday night. Found a couple of craft beer bars within 15 minutes of hotel and booked a table at Brasserie Gare du Nord for lunch before train home on Sunday!!
I have The Georgian game too. Will buff up my Georgian Shirt for sure. I did not bother trying to get tickets however my club got a few and was able to buy some of those (I have 2 Irish games )SaintK wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 2:44 pmBooked in March 2021 through Gullivers Sports Travel.
