Final Score 33-29 to Glasgow
Lots of changes in the 2nd half with Luca Bardelli scoring the Glasgow try
Good come back from Zebre , but l suspect like Edinburgh yesterday the changes in the 2nd half were telling ( albeit Glasgow won & Edinburgh lost )
Lots to work on , but lots of positives as well
( The Venison burger at half time was very good)
Off to watch some international game that's also happening tonight

Was just looking this up but you beat me to the punch. He could conceivably get 5 or 6 if he stays on. 5 players have scored 4 in a match for Scotland (including Steyn), only one has scored 5 (and that was in 1887!) and none 6.

Healy composure struggling in first 30, Price scatter gunning and Romanians need a stronger incentive to avoid high shots than being slightly ashamed to apologise
This is barely an opposed training run, shouldn't be needing these yellows to create space, not good they weren't doing so against 15

To be fair it was Barclay as well, they were saying that it could be a horses for courses selection next week and Steyn would probably get the nod.
You get your best team on the park for the big games, it's not difficult.
Jim Hamilton was saying the same in his podcast last week too (and actually went further saying that the info he’d had from the camp was that Steyn was pushing hard to start against Ireland). Much as I think Steyn is very good, I don’t really get it either. I do wonder if the bad call in the SA game was seen as a bigger black mark than we maybe realised?Tichtheid wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:03 pmKingBlairhorn wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 7:59 pmWas out the room and missed what he said. It would be foolish if that was the case. Graham and Duhan are lethal finishers who have proven time and again they can create tries from nothing. One missed opportunity to pass shouldn't cloud that.Simian wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:13 pmJim Hamilton was saying the same in his podcast last week too (and actually went further saying that the info he’d had from the camp was that Steyn was pushing hard to start against Ireland).
