Looks like Kanye West's toilet has more trophies than the WP cabinet. But at least they both smell the same.

Weird that the kakkest stadium with the kakkest home team drew the most spectators in CC/S15 for ages. Says a lot about SA others stadiums/supporters.

You probably meant to say "2 arrogant Grey Kollege wit boer supporters" as there's never more than 4 supporters at the stadium.

.New Covid-19 cases in SA remain above 2 000 mark
By IOL Reporter Time of article published 9h ago

Cape Town – The cumulative number of detected Covid-19-related cases has risen to 657 627, with 2 055 new cases identified, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said on Friday.

A total of 85 more Covid-19-related deaths have been reported: 5 from the Eastern Cape, 9 from KwaZulu-Natal, 62 from Gauteng, 7 from the Western Cape and 2 from the Northern Cape, Mkhize said in a statement. This brings the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 15 857.

’’Our recoveries now stand at 586 844, which translates to a recovery rate of 89.2. The cumulative number of tests conducted to date is 4 003 590, with 20 057 new tests conducted since the last report.“

A total of 2 128 new cases were identified on Thursday, with 67 deaths.

Data supplied by the Department of Health

Meanwhile, local public health experts have raised concerns about the bulk-buying of potential Covid-19 vaccines by rich nations, arguing that this could further delay access to these life-saving shots by developing countries such as South Africa.

The latest report by Oxfam has revealed that wealthy nations representing only 13% of the global population have already bought up more than half of the promised doses of future Covid-19 vaccines.

A British Covid-19 test which gives results in just over an hour and does not require laboratory services was accurate in almost all cases, an academic review in the Lancet has found.

Called DnaNudge, the faster testing could allow more people to return to work or permit testing on entry to hospital, thus slowing a second spike in coronavirus infections. The new test is based on the design of a DNA test.

Colloquially called "long Covid", some people who have recovered from Covid-19 are suffering from health issues like chronic fatigue, heart difficulties, breathing problems, and even a decline in mental health. Basically, the longer-term effects of Covid-19 are unknown.

Research from Austria showed lung and heart damage weeks after recovery, although there appeared to be some self-recovery after a longer period of time, highlighting the importance of pulmonary rehabilitation for hospitalised patients.

Yes, started late last year I think, was meant to come over in July on one. You pay the BA premium but in between the cost of milling about in Dubai for 4 hours or getting the obligatory Wimpy at OR Tambo (+add risk of baggage loss on change) it makes (made) it roughly £100 more for that saved combined 12/14 hours of travel. Plus the flights are overnight landing 6ish, meaning an extra full day of holiday and make it into the office on return same day.

.Covid latest: 13 new deaths, 1 555 more infections as SA enters level 1 at midnight
By Sihle Mlambo Time of article published 8m ago

Johannesburg - Health Minister Zweli Mkhize has announced 13 more Covid-19 related deaths and 1 555 new infections on Friday night.

This takes South Africa’s Covid-19 death toll to 15 953, and infections to over 661 211.

South Africa has the eighth most Covid-19 infections in the world, behind the USA, Brazil, India, Russia. Peru, Columbia and Mexico.

New infections are slowing in the country and from midnight, the country will enter into alert level 1 of the lockdown.

Covid-19 related deaths in the country have also slowed significantly from the heights of 572 daily deaths in July, to double digit deaths since mid-September.

Globally, active cases stand at just over 7.4 million, while Covid-19 related deaths stand at 963 000 and recoveries stand at over 22.7 million..

The Department of Health said it had now tested over 4 million people in the private and public sector, with almost 16 800 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

South Africa’s coronavirus death toll now stands at 15 953.

The Western Cape still has the most deaths, with 4117, Gauteng with 4030, Eastern Cape with 3070and KZN, with 2531, have the most fatalities in the country.

Of the latest 13 deaths, Mkhize said the deaths came from the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Gauteng and KZN.

Deaths by province:

Western Cape - 6

Eastern Cape - 3

Gauteng - 3

KZN - 1

“Regrettably, we report 13 more COVID-19 related deaths: 3 from Eastern Cape 1 from KwaZulu-Natal, 3 from Gauteng and 6 from Western Cape.

“This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 15 953.

“We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the healthcare workers that treated the deceased patients. Our recoveries now stand at 590 071 which translates to a recovery rate of 89,2%,” said Mkhize.

It must be pleasing for South Africans to going back to level 1. Hopefully those numbers continue to fall. 13 daily deaths is very manageable, but 1 555 daily infections is still quite high and suggests widespread community transmission.

I had a flu shot a week ago, and yesterday my temperature went very high. I was nervous that it was Covid as I am a high risk being old and being treated for stage 4 melanoma. But my temperature is nearly normal today. Just the normal aches fhat you get with flu.
